Yeah, they can dish out some nasty damage, especially considering that they can attack with mixed damage types, elemental and physical (shield of halo is always physical dot), it is extremely hard to block their damage with otherwise staple skills like Expel or Heart of steel! Tricky!!!

Nice job man, however a couple things you can try out 1.) ultimate can be used while flying I see 2x here where you stop going in after he flies and u have ultimate (guessing you wanted chi more than the dmg on him) 2.) have you tried 200 dex edge I’m currently running it for 85% crit while sparked and I’m loving the hf proc chance, you loose about 5k dmg for it but the output and dmg increase is massive when hf procs 3.) make a macro for the spammable chi building skill, if not it throws random autos in while using tele skill (can’t see if you using or not) Finally as a seeker main pretty much the only thing you can do in the fight vs edge is heartseeker freeze and walk away if you don’t zerk pretty much done for in the fight since edge blur sac slash and every cc a seeker has is eaten by either genie or shield skills... Why I personally went back to deity since if you can burst the main hp based shield or land a lucky zerk w/o relying on sac slash for dmg you might stand a chance v edge Only counters I can think of for edge and i’ve encountered is an instant cast wizard, (insta bursts most shield skills and edge has nothing for stealth tele jump spam)and a sb as after the main tele skill edge pretty much has nothing to keep up with the sb walking away Last thing: Nice job for both of you just wish I had the dedication and time to make my edge up to date on passives and titles

Thank you! 1) Yes, it also lets you start with max speed if you go on the flyer while walking, same for Wings of Desolation but I just dont like air fights at all xD 2) I was thinking about it but I am not sure, I am all for crit but I dont really wanna waste a glyph on HP anyways as the others that I use are much more important imho but ofc that depends on the situation and class that I fight. With next Updates 5% crit and 100% accu selfbuff 200 Dex might be legit, should push Edges Accu over 10k easily and would allow for even some physical stance action which I avoid atm for the chance to miss. I currently already have 53% crit so thats fine for now but we will see what the future brings. 3) That was one of the first things I did but it also comes with downsides hence I stopped using it. I try to use directional keys after every single attack I perform to internally cancel out the auto-attack, just like on other classes like sin and db but ofc it doesnt always work and I cant always focus on it, but better than to land another Chant if I want to use another skill instead xD Ya, seeker needs alot of raw damage to fight edge but we were just sparring basically, Ruby also didnt use QPQ at all to CC me a little which could have helped and yeah, I am squishy as all hell and I also agree that people are too hesistant on the absorb shield, it can be pushed through for now, after the next skill update when the base absorbtion is 80%..not so much anymore, than it basically becomes an immunity in most cases but for now, yeah, it's possible to push through it. I also avoided using reflect shield vs Halo as that is rather dangerous but ofc could be done. Also yes, basically only SBs and Wizards have a good chance vs Edge, especially SB if they have decent damage. Once Shattering Scream is in CD I have to kite and push through all my saves until it is up again, otherwise its over quickly. If SBs make smart of of Devouring Darkness, they can also easily interrupt ulti and wings, which basically means the fight ends right there. However, SBs still have the weakness that, if I jump them with trip spark, just Ghost Slash's 80% pdef debuff will prolly result in them being OS by a single Halo tick which is rather nasty. Wizard has more utility in this regard. Yes, the stealth leap but also earth immunity skill available, that no other class can use on the genie, they also have cap earth res and a physical selfbuff and high elemental resistances in general which really helps again basically anything the Edge can throw at them. On top of that, a Wizard with basically the same gear as my edge should be able to casually crit me for 20ks off def charm if not more, a single sneaky spark combo would always insta get me killed, so it would be indeed to most tricky to fight a good wizard. I hope ruby keeps his wiz up to date and fights me with that some time, that would be awesome I guess!

In both aspects Edgerunner is better. You can make an argument about them being equally strong at max endgame tho!

So gearing up again a broken class? Interesting tactics used by Joe.

Question... Edge elemental damage is based on his phys attack? Another question... you can choose which elemental damage use right? Basically elemental resistance on genie are useless?

1) It uses physical attack amount to generate damage and converts it to mag damage not unlike seeker 2)Ghost slash yea can be glyphed to mdef break instead of pdef but it’s cap value is slightly lower, becomes roughly the same as sb mdef reduction. 3) it is not useless per say, HoS will never be 100% useless, however trying to predict the dd it will do when it nukes is hard because they can fire combo you and if you use say expel or Soul of Fire they can change element on the fly to finish you quick.

Roar King yes they can glyph it to reduce elemental resistance rather than pdef. So you can drop ppl metal resist a lot spark and nuke them.

@@RoarKingPWI They have to be in fire-Stance to be able to benefit from genie Spark tho, that doesnt work with all elements, ofc, only fire. Also, the resistance skills still work, I prefer using Water for the most part cause it has a 5% chance per hit to Occult ice for 3 seconds which procs rather often and I like to mix it up to confuse a bit. However, I never use physical except vs pure arcanes and even then...expel is too easy to block my damage and in physical mode I can miss, with elemental damage I cannot miss, just like a caster. Normally tho, you would want to stay in earth stance for the most part because only Wizards can use the earth immunity shield aka there is no easy immunity against earth damage for most classes. Also earth has a 3% chance per hit to stun for 5 seconda..which shockingly proced alot as well i those fights..and getting randomly stunned for 5 seconds is deadly af.

I love edge runner!

I really want to see a 1v1 between Edgerunner x Duskblade or Assassin.

Already fought xEnfinity and Sination (him without cards to equal gear) xDD they asked me not to upload cause its very onesided xD but I see what I can do. Same with SBs that I fought xDD 1v1 selfbuffed DBs and SBs basically die Oneshot from a single tick of my DoT Shield xD

To fight a paladin you need to be able to tank it in first place. And actually transfer the slash combo then use 3 spark incase it transfered back to you. But again if you see the normal atk already that much, chances to win is very low..

Well xD I play any class xD with the exception of Psy, I have one but meh, SoS RNG is something I dont wanna deal with. Edge will be alot less OP once ppl figure out the weaknesses. Granted, its the most complicated of all classes so thats not gonna be easy xD

I have the advantage of knowing anything in this game and all of the classes in and out and can thus abuse some of the "OP" aspects of the class. If you put in a new player that just started playing edge, has no idea about any class at all...welp, I doubt he would beat me on any class. Knowledge is everything. Always was, always will be xD

@@JoePWI i would really love to see how you fight with an equal geared char a Edggunner and beat him with your "knowledge". These new classes are just broken to the ground, of course they can be beaten, but 2 wins from 30 matches means nothing.

Not sure what was expected of Ruby here. It appears though nearly no cc he attempted could stick or come in, therefore no choice but wait until you’re bursted down. Nice attempt on his part but kinda exemplify how much this class rely on ss slash and they need to fix this. SS is too powerful with 80 def weps but seeker literally need it, needs a major rework. Seekers were meant to be arcane warriors and ER are more efficient. Feel like ER should have been what seekers were intended to be.

Only chance vs Edges is if you can burst them down fast enough in general, on any class. Def builts are completely useless, cause halo doesnt care about def lvl xD if RNG was on his side he could've won more tho, he hit me several times for around 20k with either no zerk or crit, I am still squishy af, but thats things no one can control xD edge for example can just keep hitting, regardless of ZC or not and eventually the enemy dies xD

ER's easy to beat if you know how to counter them, seeker's are very exceptional against them, ruby just using the wrong skills in certain fight probably cause he hasn't vs'd the edge a lot but wait until he gets more experience, its gonna be easy af to counter especially on this nub edge that don't even know u can use reflect skill to reflect seeker's blur

@@darilbalolot3302 You are very welcome to try :) so far I have not seen a single Edgerunner out there that I would even consider competition, on none of the server. Ruby and I had hundreds of sparring fights in total and if RNG had willed it he couldve killed me many times but not anyone is carried by luck and Runy unfortunately is one of them. After all those fights ruby would 100% eat all other equally geared Edgerunner for breakfest anyways. PS: Me and Ruby already anticipated worthless comments from unknown scrubs with 0 content to their name. The prediction power is over 90000000!!! :D i dont know and idc who you are but let me tell you this. If you had rubys seeker and we would fight, I wouldnt try dif shet and switch glyphs left and right and be serious about it and unless the only hits you do are Zerkcrits, welp, you wouldnt be any better, naturally.

Joe PWI I don’t think that’s fair. Yes he won a few fights because he outplayed you. There was one part you had HoS and he blur in ulti and got a good 20k zc before you can react. Relying on luck to win basically reinforced my point, feel ER do arcane warrior far superior to Seeker. Perhaps the next update where seeker can make all their hits metal will be a bit more fruitful because once he drops say your genie to recharge and def charms if he doesn’t get a lucky hit or in the middle of edge blur he has nearly no chance because keeping ss slash useless on a seeker I can see why it weakens them so much for 1v1 anyways, mass they are fine, maybe too fine with how much a 80 def wep can have them reduce def lvl. In any case the access to turning pdef break your mdef, and spark combo more efficient than a wizard it’s just gg classwise.

Daril Balolot I cannot see how this is possible with a class that easily will have something to save them whoever seeker is ready with ss combo, or even blur. Not to mention several skills that make ER take so little damage even a ground of sbs Holy path chasing can’t kill. I’m curious how a much slower and less mobile class is easy and in 1v1 at that.

Yeah because in high level fights you don't just wiff that debuff. He is a very smart Edge Lord & will block QPQ, putting the seeker at a big disadvantage. ^^
