yeah this vid was gg from the start with the sin, didint fly when joe ultid and no water dmge resistant from the sin at all...joe using water dmge yet the sin too dumb to even notice that

Daril Balolot You make an excellent point however there’s no point in getting oxygen bubble. Joe lives for 1v1 he could prob get away with maybe 1-2 rounds max using that to escape some dd but Joe will get used to it and immediately change stances (it’s so annoying the buff icon difference between water and metal is so minute barely tell even if ur on the toon) so joe swap in like 1 sec tops, this also waste a good amount of genie energy for sin and then joe drops him GG. He fucked up when he tries to tank Halo. If he had an expel genie or atleast slept him and ran away but he was especially trying to outrun a class that makes demon venos look like clerics. Sad fact is so many times he tried running and Joe could have used shattering scream (the tele spam skill to close the gap many and kill him anways). He clearly doesn’t know Halo is ALWAYS 100% of the time physical and even HA can’t really tank that. Yet will use AD/IG on skills that aren’t Halo just to freely dd. It’s so obvious he doesn’t know how the skills work wouldn’t you say? Also shield of cataclysm gives him 100% immunity to debuffs and absorbs a lot of dd. Dude CJ a couple times to break the shield even though no cc followed it.

I agree that fighting someone who knows the skills would be more appropriate, heck a good sin that knows the way around an edgerunnee prolly is the biggest danger for an edge because of the massive damage they can deal, but even vs a sin that could Oneshot me..I would just have to kite like a bish and it would be fine again. When I know I can ofc I tryhard damage as much as possible but genie immunities lile oxygen and so on are basically useless. If ppl use that I just stick with earth or mix it up to make them waste their genie for nothing. Vs sins in particular a DEX genie would have been the best since firecombo hits like a truck but it obviously is not needed. Many ways to kill as an edge. Tho I say this, a trip spark stun port when my shield of cataclysm is down into condensed into eli interrupt and Toxic will prolly kill me if it crits or zerks vs a sin of equal gear (aka full damage mode). Vs edge it is important to wait for the right time to strike, ports cannot be reflected aka when cata shield is down, I only have my genie as protection. Well, unless tidal is off or I am lucky with my stun/para shield but even that is risky, cause if that fails, and the sin is smart, all he needs to do is sleep me through the remaining expel and CJ me right after and I am dead 100%. If I use genie and a shield and I dont immidiately kill or use ulti or wings..I am absolutely defenseless and that is the moment ppl need to wait for. If they dont, ofc I can basically do whatever I want.

I am not sure exactly what you mean but if you mean that why I am using the physical debuff glyph but attacking in elemental damage, it's simple: The phys debuff still massively increases the damage of my Shield of Halo (Physical dot aoe) and I was playing on that skill for most of the fights. I usually use the elemental debuff when I also get a DEX-based genie for Fire-Combo on top.

I recently did some 1v1s against edgerunner and this class is very hard to deal with especially on a cc toon like db I had a very hard time trying to get past all the anti cc and damage spam that edgerunner has in spades. All of the 1v1s I did I had to play very aggressively otherwise I would die to the endless damage spam combos to try and force out the shields and saves to land a kill. The problem was the class just has too many answers to deal with everything I could throw at him and the damage they have is so high you have to immune or you die which as an LA toon I had to do every time because I cannot tank a full blade hell to the face with debuff and live along with the physical DoT of shield halo. The fights I did were usually pretty close but I mostly was only able to win if I straight outplayed him nothing more. If I could survive his damage spam I had to back off and wait for the shields then go in and hope he doesn’t throw up another one to stop me from being able to kill him, which made the task very difficult because pressuring him was almost impossible with his constant spam and I had to use my immunes just to try and live and turn it to my favor.

Ya its hard for a DB vs an edge, at least on selfbuffs. Buffed it is a different story on equal gear cause then the edge might not have enough pressure to reliably kill the DB before all Shields run out and the lock is overwhelming. Personally, if you play dirty, DB can still be a massive bother, like starting with annular, chaining all saves, quad-combo to drain another shield/genie and then resetting it with ulti while blocking halo with expel or umbral + a second annular, which alone can completely screw over the edge if it hits the right skills but yeah, on selfbuffs, a trip sparked halo with the pdef debuff + mire should one-tick kill most equal geared DBs xD LA and AA in general. With that, the fight becomes insanely hard for the DB xD especially if the edge is lucky and manages to reset the CD of Halo, then it's GG.

Joe PWI It was definitely a challenge with self buffs made it much harder to fight against. Even with that though I still managed to win half the fights we had by taking advantage of mistakes on his end and playing very aggressively to force out the shields at inconvenient times or I would kill him with a quad combo or just my constant cc spam. I had to play kind of dirty like you said using my cc to try and force out his shields using a quad combo, then using my ulti to reset and force a kill when he had burned everything out to try and stop my previous attempts.

I will try but the current GvG setup is so massively unbalanced on our server..its hard to show that off cause it nearly never happens and if it does, its basically triple sparking, jumping in with immune pot and either using Shield of Halo and the Ultimate (horse) Skill or just Halo + AOE spam, then trying to get away or dying. Could do much more if it wasnt that imbalanced but yeah, I try my best!!

Demon, the 25% crit increase in Demon Spark results in so much more damage.

I would say yes but it depends. Barbs have everything they need to be a massive problem for Edges but not in particular due to their 60 Second faith, cause that can be 100% kited. Barbs can use Invoke, Solid Shield and Expel to block basically anything and also deal a huge deal of damage. But the Barb needs to be a very good player for him to be able to take down a good edgerunner but yes, Barbs do have the highest chances of winning.

Yes, ofc, Tidal can block all DoT type skills and always did, Blur, Absorb soul, Halo and so many more. However, tidal is only 66% chance to evade that and even a single tick going through already ticks his charm while I am trip sparked. I can just not use it and wait for tidal to go off or try to pressure with it immidiately, doesn't hurt me, especially when I have anything else ready. No risk but high reward if it goes through tidal.

Who tho xD Ppl are not running in my doors to 1v1 my edge and if they do they outgear me so hard that welp, a pretty uneven picture might be displayed.

This class is a pebble. The er is garbage and just using damage. The sin is garbage and attacks at wrong times. No actual tactics were used in the making of this video.

Ofc not, why would any effort be displayed if none is needed? I was well aware that the sin had no idea of whats about to come so I could just brute force yolo. After all, a good enemy makes for a good fight and that is all a good fight is about. One-sided is always boring af hence why yoloing makes it at least a bit more fun for myself :)
