Putting new wheels on 1988 Volkswagen Jetta mk2

It's the time to finally make the VW Jetta a little bit mine! So with the coilovers mod installed it's time for wheels. Wheels are what makes or breaks the car's look. And I am super curious what do you think about my new winter set for this MK2 Jetta! This young timer will be my daily for a while. With it I can work on the BMW e36 touring that is very tired and needs a lot of attention. Hopefully we will do a lot of cool DIY stuff with Jetta to learn how to upgrade this oldtimer and make it a little more modern. And it will reliably let us fix and modify the 316i touring.
Since the BMW touring project is happening now this MK2 is my winter beater. I think it will be OK to keep me going. Especially with the new BBS Wheels it got. I absolutely love them. I'm just a little concerned that this is way to many project cars for me.

Oh I think if weather is good in two episodes I’ll show the car a little more and finally wash it 😂 but the roof stays 😉 I kinda like the look plus it’ll allow me to put ski on it. They won’t fit in the car 🤷🏼♂️

I am doing the same to my car! Definitely need to upgrade the stock wheels and ditch the 13” …. I was planning 16x8” …. Do you know the offset you got so I can avoid the spacers?

I got 15x6 and I think et45. But I’m not sure. It was a long time ago 😅

Those are 15x6 or 15x6,5 I think 🤔 don’t remember honestly 😂 definitely if you’d like to use them on your mk2 you’d need a spacer. I have 30mm spacer because otherwise it was rubbing on the frame 😅

ciągle pamiętam żeby jechać się tym autem przejechać ale nie ma kiedy 🤣 teraz pożyczyłem kumplowi więc znowu przez chwilę jej nie będzie 🤷♂️😁
