What I wouldn't do to hear the gar's thoughts upon seeing the pond for the first time. After the initial shock of the transfer from the cooler, they seem super curious, I imagine they must be feeling like the world just got a lot bigger in the best way!

The ponds need more plants, floating plants and all types of reeds and cattails along the shore. If you can find some creeping Jenny you can plant it on the shoreline or in shallow water and it will spread underwater and onland. To get plants for the ponds colloect buttins from streams and ponds in your area. You might want to get a solar powered circulation pump and set up a clockwise flow in theponds

yup they are a perfect size for the gar.

The gars look so cool swimming in the pond with its water still very clear.

Those "baby" gars were freaking out after going from the big tank, to the small cooler, and then totally mind blown 🤯 being freed into the huge swimming pool!!! 😁 👏

Tank: What's the hold up? My bags are packed and I'm ready to go.

The ducks remind me of that song: 6 little ducks that I once knew Fat ones, skinny ones, short ones too. But the one little fellow with the feather on his back, he led the others with a quack, quack, quack!

I love how chill they were getting poured into the pond. It's like they accepted their fate and knew there was no reason to flail around like I expect most fish do.

The Fish Whisperer and mother nature are creating a beautiful paradise!! It is going to be wonderful watching the lakes mature over the years. Love it!!

Definitely put some more vegetation in there if the fish like it, it'll be good cover for them. It's so cool seeing this all develop and all the animals loving their new homes. How are the Bass coming along?

The next time you have fish like that to feed to the gar, cut or tear some of the pieces up for the blue Gill and minnows also feed the catfish some fish too!
