Man a set of drag bars would look absolutely killer on that bike! I really dig the springer front end. If it didn't fight you every step of the way then it wouldn't be a chopper...

Pro tip: put the brake fluid back in from the bottom with a pump.... once the master cylinder has fluid, you're good. No more bleeding brakes.

That springer looks bad ass. I have always love the mechanical look of a springer. For me I like the apes better than the drag bars, at least on this bike. Really looks like someone along the way did some half ass work on this thing. Good to see you getting it worked out.

Block if run the apes in line with the forks it will flow better. Just my opinion. Great job so far.

Hey Blockhead, I love your videos. I've been thinking about getting into riding but I'm 5 foot even. I seat tested my buddy's 2013 Harley Switchback that has a 27.7 inch (I think) seat height and I was on my tip-toes. What would you recommend for a beginner bike for short riders like me, that don't have a ton of money readily available due to college?

In order to be a chopper, either the neck has to be cut and raked or the frame has to be hard tailed. If the frame is originally built as a hardtail and the neck is raked from the beginning, it isn't "chopped" and therefore, it isn't a chopper.

Yeah, depending on when that bike was made, SPS had some issues in-house that really hurt quality control but it was inevitable, unfortunately. Bars are like sneakers, whatever your flavor is. If you want to do a separate raffle giveaway for that bob-chop, I’d be interested, I’ll even sign a waiver.

Dremel the inners of the controls out so you can run the drag bars. I think it looks way better.

Totally needs the drag bars. Not a fan of apes as it is, I just think it looks so much better with the low bars.

Dunno if it's street legal but I would have gone with 2 small lights around or under the top springs, just to visually clear them and make them be the center piece of attention of the front, especially with drag bars.

Put a fat tire on the front it'll be a bobber. Skinny tire and its a choppah. 👍 Also, stainless braided brake lines would look sick and feel much nicer for braking. Might be spendy but well worth the investment imo. I like the drag bar look more myself but the mini apes are decent as well. 👍
