Putin seems himself as Russia’s new Tsar, he’s even repeating their deadly mistakes
The Russian empire fell in 1918, because its rulers became mired in a ruinous and unwinnable war. Vladimir Putin set out to restore Russia’s imperial greatness. This week’s mutiny by the Wagner group shows hubris and vanity have led him to choose the same paths that led the last Tsar to his downfall.

Interesting historical summary on mutiny. Not just Russian but Global... but the parrallels to the present Russian situation are really sketchy... where is the massive public uprising as they were in 1917 in Russia
We will see
Really good analysis
Such well researched pieces make The Print more than worth paying subscription fee!!

Sir aapki story kabhi samajh me nahin aati. I tried the 5th time, and failed. Not for millennials and after generation. But I other shows a lot, like debates and CTCs
👌
Undoubtedly the most researched analysis of the events of the last week in Russia. Though I would like to understand the consequences to friendly countries like India id Putin becomes weak
Using the description in the link below. Ok!
From threatening the world with nuclear holocaust to negotiating peace with his chef...unless there is a dramatic change in fortune for Russia in the war I tend to agree with Mr Swamy when he predicts a end for Putin similar to the Tsars
Good but not suitable for for general public. May be for scholars.
Мой президент Путин лучший❤
Quite in depth analysis, thank you!
The Wagner Group isn't the Russian Army. If it was, I wouldn't want to discuss what happened recently in Russia. We are all dependent on our military, whom we respect and hold in high respect, whichever country we belong to. Soldiers must never lose their self esteem. Apparently, Prighozhin felt that they weren't important as human beings, to the defence minister and head of the army, if not the military, of Russia.

The Wagner Group isn’t the Russian army, true, but its State funded, and service comes with a number of State benefits (e.g., pardon from criminal sentences). I agree with you, a lot of the resentment was probably driven by the rank-and-file’s feeling they were being used as cannon fodder (Praveen)
Hey philosophical swamy ur narration is like a sleeping 💊pill
Tsar Vladolf Pootler the Great,so-called
Hotta hain. Vinaash kale viprit buddhi
It is his country.can you or anyone else stop him from becoming Tsar.

Even in my country, I can’t stop anyone from becoming anything, or help them become anything. All I can do is try to report on what’s going on, and I’m happy doing that (Praveen)
Putin must go. That's the only way to save Russia.
Yes, we MUST support Print....it is SO educative.

@@ThePrintIndia Actually each video of all, provides real facts and also, very holistically. And that is far more interesting, than any one can make. What happens is when you see 100s like that, you acquire an unusual understanding of politics. Also, it covers the whole world. You.become first handed and NOT a blind follower. This would help you in life and work, in all ways. Print is quite good. Lucky we are. That is why, I say, we must support. Blindness helps nobody.
But this narration fails with Pakistan. People in Pakistan are dieing for food but there was no revolution.

That is because they consider themselves to be macho men with a gun, legal or illegal, in every house ...😂😂😂
Problem with the so called analyst/experts is all of them see Russia through Western Lens Sad Indian analyst are no different Non of them can speak even broken Russian language How the hell on earth, They are Russia expert Sad state of affairs Curse of Anglosphere on Indian's Thought process

@praveensindhu7682 Wow, The Print deleted my reply in support of your comment! And I did not even use any cuss words. I only argued against their analysis and called them out for relying only on the western narrative. I asked a basic question like how can you say Putin thinks he is a Tsar or Putin thought he could occupy Ukraine in 3 days; did he tell you guys? In stead of reporting on Putin's exact words taken from his speeches, The Print adds their opinion, which is based on western think-tanks who are known to have an agenda. Congratulations The Print, your true colours come out again. You cannot take criticism and do not like your thinking to be challenged. You cannot handle transparency and choose to censor comments. Your usage of 'Un-hyphenated journalism' is exactly how the US uses 'democracy'...empty words with an underlying agenda.
Hope, what Mr Swamy said, happens very soon. The world is fed up with these kinds of despots (though pro-India). Then Mr Xi, hopefully!

The problem is, there is no guarantee that better things will follow the end of bad things-after all, Russia got decades of awful Stalinism (Praveen)
Present time Russia is different The conditions now is it similar to what prevailed during Czarist times I have never felt that way You are predicting Putin's doom just as many in the West want
Biased propaganda!!
