I nearly burst out laughing when I heard of Putin describing the attempted assassination of the Czech PM, Fico as a "monstrous crime". If Putin ever encounter himself in a nightmare I'm pretty sure he'll wake up screaming. Infact, I sometimes wonder how a person like that can really sleep! I'm not sure the United *States* is administratively divided into "Oblasts" (the word roughly means "regions" in Slavic languages)

What we don't understand is that Russia China and India don't accept a world under American leadership. They believe that they must do what is in their interest.. They are prepared to cut any deal. The idea of just following someone because they are part of an alliance is a no no. Turkey and Russia relationship is an example of how they can have differences but still do business.

@diego5079 it was the West that deceived Russia at Minsk. It was the West that violated their promise not to expand NATO IN 91 and again at the Bucharest Summit in 08. It was the West that failed to honour the Black Sea Grain Deal. Tell me which treaties or agreements the Russians did not honour. It was the West that persuaded Zelensky to pull out of the agreement being forged in Feb Mar 2022 that the Ukrainians wanted to sign and would have avoided war.
