Purdue Presidential Lecture Series | Akinwumi Ayodeji Adesina

Purdue alum Akin Adesina, president of the African Development Bank Group, discusses food scarcity, success stories, the potential of African savannas and his hopes for a rising generation. Adesina is winner of the World Food Prize, which is often referred to as the Nobel Prize for food and agriculture. The award - the highest international honor recognizing achievements in advancing the quality, quantity and availability of food in the world - was presented to Adesina earlier that week.
