He never ever gives up to help any animal in need. He comes up with the most ridiculously clever things to help all his patients. Even if they aren't his patients and are just wild animals in need of help/rescuing. Plus he has an awesome sense of humor.

My puppy was born with swimmer syndrome as well. His legs were taped every day for about 20 minutes and we massaged them like Chris did. He was walking within one week! He's completely normal and healthy now at 8 weeks! So happy to see this video bringing attention to the treatment of swimmer syndrome and how prognosis is actually quite good with a bit of work! No more putting healthy puppies down

Swimmers Syndrome, can be fixed.

That’s what I love about him he does everything in his power to heal his patients. It shows the love he has for animals .

I hate it when people don’t even try, so this is a success story, because the vet knew what was needed , and it didn’t take long to correct . I wish everyone did this and not put a healthy animal down. When it can be fixed so easy , great lady for doing the job well 🐕👍❤️

I agree completely! The sad thing is that ..the very same thing happens with people. So many children get lost in the system. Many people..almost all of them..end up as adults healing from their childhood and are struggling in one way or another. We not only need to Chang the way we are towards animals, but towards people. And the amazing things is, people can heal _with animals!_ We don’t have to heal alone, and where ever there is the possibility, we should reach out and connect and help where we can. And if ever, within safe conditions, we can get humans and animals together to heal, we should! We all need unconditional love, and animals are absolutely amazing at that given the proper care and attention, which can actually teach so many people how to love properly again! 💓✌🏼💓

Well with such a handsome swimming instructor who wouldn’t recover??? I think I’m going to consult for a swimmer syndrome too. Lol 😂

I've actually seen a lot of swimmers here in the US. Kittens particularly. What is done on these kittens is bandaging. They bandage the back legs together and gradually loosen the bandages. Seems to have a good success rate. Which I'm sure Dr. Chris is well aware of.

Two very ADORABLE puppies with a very cute Dr.Chris

You should do what the sisters on Pitbulls and Parolees do with puppies like this. They built them a trough to walk in, and strengthened them day by day until they could walk normally. Took a while, but they are successful with this therapy concept.

I helped a pup with swimmers: bandage back legs together in standing position (3-4 weeks)Let her sleep/rest on her side AND make sure to give worm tablet and feed high protein meal to strengthen muscles

The big thing here is that the swimmers is actually about the rib cage… the legs are as a result. Even if you fix the legs, the animal will still have breathing problems.

This breaks my heart because I had a kitten with this and he only lived to be a few weeks. If there were more GOOD vets like Dr. Chris (I'm in u.s.) he probably would have survived.

My only problem with this and the last couple of videos is that the music drowns out the narrator. I can hardly make him out in places. But the videos themselves are brilliant. Love them.

Dr Chris is truly one of the best Vets i have ever seen....

Any time we get to see Chris shirtless is a win.

This veterinarian seems like such a sweet man and he’s so good looking😍

Dr. Chris is just the BEST! Creative, charming and unassuming.

At 8.40 I have never seen a patient exit so quickly

I love Chris he’s so clever helping this little dog ,when other vets would have put her to sleep ,well done once again Chris

My vet is 75, paunchy and grey but he’s the best!

They would also pick this one where just so happens Chris is in a pool wet shirtless lol

This vet also helped like a dad to that boy ..thats the greatest thing about this noble profession

Although Dr Brown is Amazing by constantly thinking way beyond the text book for his patients, I give tons of kudos to Monroe's family for following Dr Brown's instructions. Bravo to this entire team so Monroe can be a happy, healthy puppy.

All the thirsty women in the comments be like: “Look at how kind he is to his patients, how caring, how.. handsome, how strong-look at those muscles-how charming-he looks like a prince-What a man~”

As patient and loving as Dr. Chris is, he could teach some human medical providers some of the same. Not all human doctors have the bedside manners, care, and sincerity as this excellent doctor has. Kudos, Dr. Brown, for your love of animals.

Monroe is the cutest milk cow puppy I've ever seen. So adorable watching her swim.

The eyes really are mirrors of the soul. The little dog's eyes when she couldn't walk vs when she started being able to were so different

Monroe is so precious. I love humans that help these precious babies. God gave us dogs to show us love, forgiveness, and friendship. May all his creatures prosper and love to the fullest.

I've seen different ways that the vet's try to fix them, but he's found the quickest way to resolve the problem. Other times they just address the legs, the side effect, his way address the initial problem. He's a great vet!

@C G Staffs are well known to suffer from hip problems, such as hip dysplasia. I'm glad they managed to help this little one though. They're my absolute favourite breed.

This man is a hero

MY 14 YR. OLD 4.0 lb. poodle arrivied with serious staph infection, malnutrition and severe physical disabilities. Once her strength was built up, she spent time in the bath tub swimming just like Monroe... helped her so much!

Dr. Chris is AMAZING! Brains, charm, humor, compassion, and tall good looks! Yeah, he checks high on a lot of ladies' lists! Thanks to KZread his attraction is International! Man, can't wait until cloning is a thing!

Sometime ago I remember watching a video in which a snow leopard had the same condition as the puppy. The zoo keepers and the doctor decided to make a harness to lift the cub a little bit to make it use the hind legs. It worked well and the cub is a healthy adult now 😀

Ok, ok-everyone is excited about the handsome vet, and he is, no doubt about that. But did you REALLY see that happy little puppy-playing, running, ALIVE?! THAT is what a GREAT vet and a determined owner can accomplish together! My heart lit up when I saw that little puppy running SO happily!! 😃🙂
