When a dog is recovering from some trauma, I often see another dog plays a huge role in her recovery. Not sure why this happens - but it's beautiful to watch.

What kind of monster abandons a helpless puppy? There are animal rescue organizations you can always call. And they'll even come pick up the animal, even in the middle of a pandemic.

A lot of these so called rescue places won't even answer unless they think you are going to DONATE to them...so people just DUMP them! OR they take them to a kill shelter and forget about it!!! The only so called rescue outfit that will come out at night is when the sheriff calls them like for puppy mills or neglect of several animals. I'm not taking up for these people , just letting people know that not all rescue places are the compassionate, caring people they want you to think they are! AND if you live in a rural area...it is hard as hell to get someone to take an animal in because they are always FULL!

This beautiful and heartwarming story of an extremely malnourished and ill little puppy being cared for, nurtured and loved back to health to live happily with her human and canine family is just so uplifting! Her meeting the resident rottweiler has had a hugely beneficial effect, as she's learned how to be a puppy! That she is now a part of that family forever is the stuff of dreams!

My hat's off to all the rescuers and caregivers of these abandoned animals.

I have a German shepherd pitbull mix (what the vets think) and I found her on the back roads in Northern Michigan as a puppy. She was definitely seperated from her mother too soon. But she is the most loving dog, I'm so happy I found her 4yrs ago!

She was such a helpless little baby. I am happy that you decided to raise and adopt this adorable little girl. She even has a big sister to help raise her.

She has 2 of my favorite dog breeds of all time. So glad stomi was found n got a good human that treats her right
