United States invasion of Grenada _(Operation Urgent Fury)_ began at dawn on October 25th, 1983. He said he was _"dishonorably discharged on May 19, 1983"_ a soldier who was a standard level US Army Soldier ranked Private First Class would've *NEVER* been sent there, Vice Admiral _Joseph Metcalf III,_ Commander of the 2nd Fleet, was the overall commander of American forces, he designated *_Joint Task Force 120_* which was comprised of several different elements of each military service & multiple special operations units. Fighting continued for several days and the total number of American troops reached near 7000 along with 300 troops from the _Organization of American States_ (OAS). The invading forces encountered about 1,500 Grenadian soldiers & roughly 700 armed Cuban nationals manning defensive positions. The People's Revolutionary Army possessed eight BTR-60PB armored personnel carriers & two BRDM-2 scout cars which they had received from the Soviet Union in February, 1981, but no tanks. Their arsenal also included twelve ZU-23 anti-aircraft guns, DShK heavy machine guns, & a limited number of M37 82mm mortars & RPG-7 Rocket-Powered Grenade launchers.

I was too young when SNL started but of all the cast since I'm old enough to watch this show, Bill Hader is up there on the list along with Molly Shannon, Tina Fey, Phil Hartman, Chris Farley, Jon Lovitz and Will Ferrell.

will always be one of my fav sketches. bill haders "stefon" character caught my eye and really pulled me to this show years ago as a teenager. he has such a great energy that lingers in all his sketches, hilariously talented dude. also the person in the audience that starts dying laughing around 1:08 and 1:24 made this even more funny than it already was lmaoooo
