Guys this is a bit of a misnomer. You may experience some results initially but once your car relearns your true normal driving style it’ll map everything back to the way it was. This is not a lasting mod of course.

From that dig I can tell you just made that kids day lol he’s gonna be a born mopar owner someday

Best relearn is to do the recalibration and accelerate as slow as possible building up speed, and after five trips with vehicle of and on, it will take effect and runs fast..driving rough with relearn mode will just give u a louder muffler and no speed nor boost after 65 mph.

my challenger feeling slugish too, ill definitely try this out

For those of us who have the older 5 speed models, the adaptive learning only accounts for the first 60 shifts or something after it is reset. From that point on, it won't change anything. At least from what I've seen in both of the 5 speed Challengers I've owned. My RT shifted kind of sluggish so I reset it and drove like an asshole for about 20 minutes. It shifted much more aggressively for a year after that before I traded it in for a 392 even though most of my miles were highway driving. The 392 has shifted aggressively since day 1. A Diablo tuner can reset the trans computer in the options.

I even pulled it on my Ram. On the Ram it's the ECM fuse instead of PCM. Engine Control Module. It works. 🤘

@@fastsociety don't know. But if you pull the PCM fuse, it will take more time for the car to learn your driving habits. My gas mileage has gone down. Just 2 to 3 mpg.

Fuse box on my 2014 jeep srt8 is a little different but it helped thanks

You forgot to tell them putting sugar in your gas tank will increase the fuel efficiency 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Do the recalibration method and accelerate slow as possible building up speed. It will let the vehicle learn to shift faster...after about 5 trip which includes turn off and on the vehicle , for everytime u turn off vehicle open driver door, so each trip get calculated in the computer....

You can also get a Taser and do the adaptive reset on the fly.

Similar methods or simply disconnecting your battery terminals on MOST cars that have essentially an "adaptive memory" or "adaptive transmission/ECU/PCM" will simply work on basically any car with a similar setup. Though the jerky shifts might be another underlying issue. It is a Chrysler product after all, with the only good part being ZF's 8HP 8 speed automatic. Adaptive learning shouldn't require resetting the car, it should self-relearn constantly over time.

Should I trade my 5.7 hemi for a srt8 or scat??? I feel like srt8s are more rare it’s just that 8 speed and additional HP is kinda Tempting

5.7 is easier to modify for bigger gains.

Now I have a 2015 Ford fusion 2.5 L. What fuse would it be on that car?

Probably could take the battery cable off and it will do the same thing , if it even works

The tazer can do this too if you have one. I recently reset mines with it. Only temporary though. These computers are smart.

How often should we do this?

I just bought a 2018 gt. Granted it's only a v6 but I've owned it for 3 weeks now. When I got it , it had 93 miles (supposedly). I say that because it was purchased in September of 2018, and my dealership is in Mystic, CT. They drove the car from Imperial Chrysler Dodge from Mendon, Mass. 44 miles away. I've tried not to beat on it. Everyone says to let the engine set in for 1000 miles. Now I did try to push it once around 500 miles taking it to 112mph, but otherwise it has 1327miles as of today. My concern that I'm hoping folks can advise: From stop to first gear it sometimes wants to shift early even though I'm not pushing and just getting to 30mph on a residential road. It's almost like it's shifting when it doesn't need to -- like trying shift at 15-20mph. But after that the car shifts without any "hiccup". I've read that some 2018s (not sure GT or mine specifically) that there are software (firmware) updates for both the engine CPU as well as the Transmission CPU. Keep in mind, this is a car that sat on a lot for the year, purchased from a dealership in CT, driven down to CT, that I purchased. I love the car and will follow up with the service department on firmware updates. Just curious if others have experienced similar shifting where initial slow stop to go makes the car seemigly shift prematurely.

I basically disconnect the positive wire feeding into the fuse box on my jeep, resets everything.

Disconnect the battery for 15-30 mins works even better.

Is this the same fuse number on the V6 Challenger's? I have a SXT Plus with Sport Mode. I noticed after putting in my Intake, the car would hang out in high RPM then shift. Sometimes it goes redline and once I actually Chocked the Engine off a Dig and the car stopped. I had to turn it off and back on...since then I always use my paddles even on even my daily driving.

To add to this... you will need to use the charging cable that comes from apple. Most aftermarket cables won’t work (not all, but most). And yes, it depends on wether or not your vehicle comes with apple CarPlay for it to work.

It will acually blow up the cam shaft from starving it. It deactivates the inlets that flow directly to the cams and starves it after awhile. Yes it does make youre car for awhile since it doesn’t have to burn after the inlets… this is fine for 100 miles. Than plug it back in. Run it 5 mins than can unplug it again that way can recoup the fluids to the cams.

I wouldn't recommend it, as it will interfere with passing emissions for a smog check. My naturally aspirated 2012 R/T w/ Mopar bolt-ons didn't pass. And, CA DMV gave me gave me only a week to pass and I didn't have time due to work. Out of desperation I had the dealer run and lock it for me, which cost me $250. 😐
