The v6 troopers are pretty bulletproof. My first was a 93 had almost a half million miles when a blown headgasket diluted the oil and spun the bearings.it was a spare car at the time and didn't have time for an engine swap.sold for parts and regretted it. Then bought a 99trooper December 2020 drove it a month, went through a 4 way stop sign that used to be a 2way stop sign(Oops) Crushed an Acura Integra and rolled it. Now I own another 99trooper that was cheap because of an engine Knock. In the process of transferring all the good parts to the Body Donor. Once mine is done,I might buy another Fixer for the wife.
