Puff Puff Recipe With Milk And Eggs No Yeast under 10minutes
Puff puff is a deep-fried dough. They are made from yeast dough, shaped into balls and deep-fried until golden brown. It has a doughnut-like texture but slightly more chewy. It is a very common snack eaten by so many countries but with different names and a little bit of variation in the mode of preparation.
For West Africans, puff puff needs no introduction. It is a quick and easy recipe with a few low-cost ingredients but don’t underestimate how delicious it is because of its simplicity. Very few people can resist their allure.
Puff puff is an African classic, usually sold in street-side shops.
In this video I'm bringing puff-puff recipe to you with a little twist.
looking critically the main ingredient in puff puff is white flour and you’d notice quickly that there are no proteins in our puff puff recipes.
Sharing this recipe makes me feel like we have conquered in some way by making the traditional puff puff more nutritionally balanced for our kids and loved ones. Instead of just feeding them balls of fried dough, now we make the puff puff healthy with milk and eggs in it.
These quick and easy no yeast puff-puff are the best, and the tastiest puff-puff you could ever make from scratch and still seems like you’ve spent the entire day on
Since l have discovered this recipe, I’d say l have given up on the traditional way of making puff-puff
You no longer have to wait for hours before you can make and enjoy the world tastiest puff-puff. This method requires minimal work to put together.
No resting time is needed for this easy and quick no yeast; milk and eggs puff-puff. Within few minutes you are done.
If you’re tired of the traditional way of yeast puff puff, and desire a little short cut to making this delicious snack follow me to the kitchen
Ingredients needed are
All purpose flour
2eggs
Milk
Nutmeg
Baking powder
Sugar
Salt
Oil
Method of preparation :
In a large bowl mix the flour and dry ingredients properly to incorporate then form a well in the middle. Add the eggs; milk and oil and mix until the dough is smooth and soft.
Place your frying oil on medium heat. Make sure the oil is not too warm or too hot. We don’t want uncooked Puff-Puff and we don’t want them to get soaked in the oil. (This is very important for a perfect result)
Then start frying. Scoop the dough into the frying oil with your hand or you can use the ice cream scooper like I did to achieving the desired round shape.
Fry between 5-6 minutes or until they turn golden brown. Remove and drain. Serve hot and enjoy

So sorry for your experience. If you decide to use yeast instead of baking powder like I did you'll have to leave the puff-puff mixture for some hours to rise before you fry it
