In today’s video I share a tour of a beautiful apartment located in the jungle but only a few minutes walking from downtown Puerto Vallarta, Zona Romántica and all of the best restaurants, Malecón and the beach.
This home and the area are absolutely breathtaking!
I can tell you that this community is definitely one of my favorites here because of the natural landscape, fresh air, views and convinces. Don’t be surprised to see me move here next year once my lease at the current place expires :)))
You may recognize this place and our host - Dez who will be showing us around from a video done by Jim from “Living Overseas TV. “
I am always looking for opportunities and information to share with you and when my friend Laila found this beautiful home for rent for only $400 USD we jumped on it right away and of course filmed the experience for you.
To get to the property you need to walk over this suspension bridge running over the River Cuale, in the high season, right now as I am making this video river runs low, but in the rain season It sure fills up!
There are total of 7 units, in the house and 8th is on the way.
For now it’s mostly a lady community.
There is a true family atmosphere here and I love it!
The neighborhood is extremely safe because all of the neighbors looks after one another.
Extremely clean air, all natural materials and stones are used to build the homes, I am just falling more and more in love with this place!
Would you live in a place like this friends? Comment below!

So happy to see you two got together. I watched the very first showing of this property and fell head over heels for her unit-which you said you wanted it next year when she moves. It’s the only property I could not get over. It has the jungle environs, and hopefully the fellow who built it won’t raise the rent,. I can’t tell you the comfort I immediately felt when she gave the tour of her place. So perfect for a single lady who has had her eye on Mexico for almost a year. Maybe I can pick up again with you before too long. Really enjoy watching you. So uplifting ! Thank you Pat

Don’t be fooled about not needing air conditioning in PV because it gets extremely hot and humid from July to mid-November. Believe me, you will need air conditioning and if you go without, good luck as you will sweat and be uncomfortably hot. Also this location Buenos Aires is difficult to get to as the road was washed out during the hurricane and it makes it challenging to get in and out. Last of all, this location will take you anywhere from 30 -45 minutes to walk to the beach. You have to walk past El Remance, then the highway, then through Las Canoas, Emiliano Zapatista, then you will reach the outer boundaries of the romantic zone and keep walking as you have some more steps to reach the beach. If you want to be close to the beach without having to to walk through various neighborhoods, this is not your place. In closing, just walking from the entrance to the home shown is a challenge and then think of carrying your luggage, groceries, etc. what a challenge you will be facing. Much better neighborhoods closer but the price does go up, nothing cheap in PV anymore, get used to it.

I have walked and driven in Buenas Aires. I like the are up the Rio Cuales, too. It's very nice with lots of fresh air. Sometimes it's nice to be back a ways from the Malecon, because high season is so crowded - I usually go back from the beach for better prices and a calmer area.

Can you please verify for me that a person can no longer move to Mexico with the income of $1,000 a month ? Requirements have changed income for temporary residency is 2400 to $2700 .And must show this income for the last 6 to 12 months . Permanent residency is 4500 to 4700 show proof of income from the last 6 to 12 . no longer move to Mexico with an income of $1,000, is this correct?

Connie, I am not an immigration lawyer and can’t verify such information for you. Only a professional who has clear understanding of your personal situation, finances and much more can. I recommend you speak with professionals about this and find connections who can help you to make your dream a reality. Good luck.

Please release the parrot -- birds don't belong in cages, they were meant to fly. It's the cruelest thing ever to see them trapped in a cage.
