    . Lived there for 5 months. GOING BACK IN 3 WEEKS. The "pollution" doesn't negate ANYTHING from your experience as far as I know. it doesn't smell bad or anything when I was there but maybe it does sometimes?. IT'S CLEANER THAN IT WAS 20 YEARS AGO. GREAT positive video guys :)

    You just showed the three most expensive places to live, lol 😂😂. That basket of produce would cost way more than that in Ajijic or San Miguel de Allende. It’s not that cheap anymore. If someone wanted to live more inexpensively, they would learn Spanish and not live in those expat enclaves.

    No more Gringos in Mexico to abuse of Mexicans and their traditions, because the gringos can't pay in your own country expenses go to Mexico to find the cheap life, but demanding over-attention and changes in the Mexican Culture without respect. Don't make that Mexicans hate you all because you don't know how they are gentle people, but no servile people anymore!

    Thanks for the info. In 1973, my ex-wife and I were on our honeymoon from Washington state, U.S. After a day trip to south of Ensenada by car (our U.S. licensed auto.), we were returning and in a small town, with no traffic at around 1 p.m., I parked on the wrong side of the street (i.e. left side in reverse to traffic direction as you did). After a 20 or 40 minute outing, we were approaching our car and two uniformed, jodhpured, black riding boot, sun glasses wearing patrol officers were waiting. The lead officer explained I had parked the automobile incorrectly. I had two years previously returned from multiple tours in Vietnam and had dealt frequently with black market, military police and dangerous black market diamond selling transactions as the only U.S. person in a dark store front late at night, wearing a belted .45 in uniform among several Vietnamese/Chinese men in a tough section of Saigon, Cholon district. I did not want to have to go to a Mexican court or other office, so with a respectful attitude, I casually asked if I could pay the fine right then and there to the officers. Which of course, the lead officer agreed. I had casually pulled my wallet out and extended 2 U.S. dollars and asked if that was enough for the fine. He said yes...so I paid them. I did not begrudge paying them at the time, because I knew even as a half broke college student, newly married, I made more than they did and I felt that at least they could go after duty and buy a couple of beers, etc. Yes, the 2 U.S. dollars is correct....1973, 51 years ago, starter homes were around 15,000 to 20,000 U.S.

    Hey Larissa, want to move to Puerta Vallarta starting around 3rd week May for at least a year. I’ll be renting a hotel in the romantic zone until I find a place. Is there a rental agency I can go to or just walk around and ask? What do you recommend

  • @LarissaSokla
    @LarissaSokla2 ай бұрын

    Hola 👋 I would recommend to book AirBNB or hotel for a few days and as soon you come here start looking for rental place at Facebook market place, so you can go to look at the place in person. There will be plenty of available rentals to choose from because low season is on and many expats left until next high season. Good luck 😉 thanks for watching my KZread channel :)
