Love your E-bike reviews! I've been looking at the Puckipuppy and Freesky E-bikes. I will be doing most of my riding in campgrounds and very light trails. Which of these bikes do you recommend? I'm also going to buy one for my wife but it will definitely be a step through model (performance will be less important). I will most likely stay with the same brand just to make maintenance simple. Thanks in advance for your impute.

PuckiPuppy has Step through and step over. Along with other bikes and it seems they're getting a better selection. I have not yet reviewed the Freesky. Feel free to use my link if you like. :)

Is it goot for me as im 5'0 able to sit on the bike? My normal bike is 26" but no flat tires Im getting the ST.

That's a tough one for me to answer because I'm not 5'0. The recommended rider height is 5'6"-6'8 Personally I don't like to feel big on a bike so I tend to like a bikes to be a little bit bigger than smaller. However if you are going to get a bike that's a bit bigger I would strongly recommend a step through like this one. Please feel free to use my affiliate link if you decide this bike is good for you.

Are e-bike batteries bad about catching fire?

Not sure I understand your question. Currently there's a big push for UL certified batteries This means the battery was built with certain standards to make it safe. Often times people modify their batteries or Use the wrong charger and this can be a problem.

Test rides are the best way to get a feel for an e-bike. We sent you an email, take a look.

It's a step through. Seemed to have more support then I seen on others. Most companies make a step through model as well.

The normal boxer has a support bar in the middle if you're concerned about that type of thing. Personally I think the step through model looks better though and it weighs 2lbs less.
