My hand brakes seem to be good but i'm getting this loose & "grinding" feel when i brake. Im assuming i need to adjust the pads? Thanks for the video, gonna try this out.

I have no idea what you mean by that. This is an electrical outlet that can be powered on remotely.

Busy intersection, area, we've almost been hit at Fetzner/Vintage on 3 separate rides. Drivers are crazy here.
Absolutely a lot of people don't realize how dangerous it is there because people will give me slack about jumping on the sidewalk sometimes. Are streets aren't accommodating to biking.

It’s an okay bike but not good for hills I’ve had to do allot of maintenance and replacements to make the bike worth while

Are e-bike batteries bad about catching fire?
Not sure I understand your question. Currently there's a big push for UL certified batteries This means the battery was built with certain standards to make it safe. Often times people modify their batteries or Use the wrong charger and this can be a problem.
I’m interested in this Aventon Soltera 2 or the Velotric T1 ST Plus. It’s a difficult decision on what bike is better.

That's a really nice looking bike. It looks like it was well thought out and has quality parts. The only thing I don't like is the PuckiPuppy Beagle name. Are all of their bikes named after dogs? What were they thinking? 😂

Great thorough review, thanks Mike! How's it holding up so far, any issues with battery degradation, wear or problems from rainy or extra hot weather? Looking forward to getting one.
So far the person enjoying it hasn't had any issues as fare as I know.
I got my new trip and it has a dent in both back fenders and the seat spins and moves, the clamp doesn't work .
It seems fenders are hard to protect on a lot of these bikes.
That is not a good idea to use that battery after going through that. You’re just looking for trouble.

Love the value of these bikes, especially with the free extra battery and local dealers in my states. Hybrid style handlebars also make it easy to get up and go.
@@DearSX They definitely been around for a while and are very respected. They make good quality bikes and feel they're one of the leaders at this price point.
I'd miss placed my charger and didn't remember if it was a micro cable or the proprietary. A micro fit, but I didn't want to hurt my controller. Thank you for confirming that micro USB will charge it.

Thanks for your review of this bike. Do you know how much weight that tail rack can hold? I'm thinking if I get one, I'd want to put a passenger seat on it.
@@d.mar.2624Thanks a bunch. I definitely don't think it would hold any passenger and certainly not an adult. I would check with the manufacturer on the weight capacity.
@@mikerochester I wanted to share what I found. I just seen on the Actbest website that the tail rack can hold 120lbs. That's good enough to toss a seat on to take my kid on it to ride around the neighborhood. Thanks again for making your video. It was really helpful!

Normally they do not come with the basket. Oftentimes companies run promotions and offer accessories. There's a link in the description that you can check to see if there are any current offerings.

This bike does not compare to other 750w motor bikes going uphill. I wanted to love it but as someone with a hilly commute I am struggling getting home. That and, it stopped turning on the first time I rode it in the rain.
That seems strange mine gets wet all the time maybe it's something else could be the controller. I'm sure you know this but it does have 15 levels of paddle assist make sure you're in the highest and the lowest gear I haven't had any hills I couldn't make it up.
You can deliver uber eats and doordash using an ebike now in 2024, it's legal, and I would inform McDonald's that uber eats and door dash comes here to pick up food for your customers, so I am allowed to pick up orders for myself! Particularly since my etrike is a 3 wheeled vehicle, with working brake lights, tail lights, blinkers and headlights. Just like a trike motorcycle, just not as heavy. Plus I have side view mirrors and a reverse camera mounted. But the real argument will be uber eats and doordash.
Thanks for sharin, That totally makes sense. Some have said for insurance reasons they don't let you go through the drive-thru and you need to pick up inside.
Very informative. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of mine, my first eBike!. I've had my Bridgestone 26" for about 35 years. Lifting my leg over the horizonal bar it is becoming difficult. Last year, I had the stem extended to relieve my neck, shoulder & back pain, but the longer stem makes steering more difficult, because it can swerve the wheel at a light touch.
Congratulations. You're going to really enjoy riding eBikes... everyone does:)
