Oh the memories!! My first road vehicle!! My parents had one and I inherited it when I reached 16. Fantastic little machine. I rode 130 miles on it one day. Incredibly fuel efficient. Eventually I went on to own a GSXR 1000 K5 top (speed 202mph on a dyno), but the speedo only went up to 186mph (300 kph). It got stolen. Now, at the age of 61, I ride a Honda VFR Fi . It is a tad more powerful and 120 mph faster than the Puch Maxi S.

I would still Tune it ti 70cc it will make huge difference

No moped had that lovely high pitch sound. I had one in The Netherlands, drove around for six months and sold it for the exact price I paid. Thanks for this lovely memory!!

Thank you for the wonderful ride - it's 1974, I'm 16 again and pounding through the Kent countryside on one of these. Never felt so free.

This video made me miss riding my moped back in high school I go everywhere on it I still miss it 34 years later

sam the guy it varies. There is german austrian and swiss models of these mopeds. The austrian models go 45-60 kmh, the swiss models go 35kmh and the german ones only go 25. These mopeds were assembled and sold mostly in austria and thats why most of them have a top speed of 45-50 kmh.

Thatvanillawowshizzle Forthehorde do you own one? In germany 25 kmh was the only allowed speed for mopeds and puch also had to manufacture mopeds for the german market. There are also austrian models in germany of course but the ones made for germany only go 25.
