I got my publisher rocket last week thanks to your recommendation. I have plenty of work to do with it to change my old books and make a new one but it looks promising with the information that I can not get on free pluggins. The time-saving that I am getting with this tool is great and I can use it to make better books. Mind-blowing what some books are earning:)

@@TimelessTales590 The category section has been the most useful for me, tried books using Publisher Rocket keyword search and the AWS search and its not returning better results than the keywords that I was selecting myself, in fact most of my best sellers are from ones that I created the keywords myself. Im not saying Publisher Rocket is bad its just not in may case finding more profitable keywords. Im only at 100 books and in the four months been doing this sold 60 books so I have just made back my Publisher Rocket money. But still in the red as I'm running adds and spent $200 on that alone. But Im not seeing sales like some people are. Im trying for quality content but its seems this method might be a long term strategy I'm not sure. The other people making the money seem to pump out books at an insane rate

Thank you for sharing this that was very interesting. I bought PR last year in 2021 and have gone through the tutorials but, had no luck in selling my e-books. My main genre is Erotica.

The Erotica niche is very competitive so perhaps look at diversifying to a different area to see if PR can help you create a different kind of book to see if you have success with that?

Hmm, the Phonics book is published in color by a professional publisher. Aren’t those harder to compete with? The printing costs for the color version of KFP books is pretty high, so you might have to charge a little more than an a publishing house to in order to make a few dollars in profit? Also, does Publisher Rocket isolate independent KDP books like Book Bolt does?

The Phonics book was more of an observation but there’s no reason you couldn’t create your own version with some research and effort but yes, always harder to compete with major publishers but you should never overlook creating a book if there is a strong market for it. RE: Isolation of books: I am unaware and haven’t looked into that. I do use both software programs though.

Honestly, I’d choose Publisher Rocket as it’s a once off lifetime payment. Subscription models can really eat into your budget if sales are slow. I purchased publisher rocket before I’d made any sales and if your wanting to scale, consider these as investments into your business, not liabilities. It’s another way too of backing yourself to grow by investing in these kinds of platforms. As I mentioned in my video, I’ve made my purchase price of $97 back so many times that I consider to be a wonderful asset to my long term KDP publishing.

I am not a successfully published author yet but I have bought publisher rocket and one thing I want to add is that the free training that comes with it is so good. And the emails that Dave sends are helpful and have excellent information and them as well. It is a tool that has helped me keep going and helped me believe that I will be successful.

You have a video on KDSPY as well. This tool is kind of similar to KDSPY. I have only budget for 1 tool, which one should I use? Thanks

I wouldn't know. I assume it's not going to be 100% accurate but this data should give you an 'indication' and form of evidence which is important.

does this tool work for other langages research, such as italian, frencg, german ? or only in english ?

Direct from their website: "Publisher Rocket is a downloadable software that will work on PC and Mac computers. Rocket works for Mac 10.9 above and all versions of Windows except for S-Mode, Windows Vista and older versions(10+ years). Unfortunately since it is not a web-based app, it will not work on iPads, tablets, smartphones or Chromebooks. Hello Romney, I am really impressed by this tool. I have a small question to ask regarding that. When we are doing the keyword research on publisher rocket, "Estimated Amazon Searches per Month" and "Competitive Score" are really important. So my question is, if we could get a keyword which has a higher "Estimated Amazon Searches per Month" and lower "Competitive Score" (both with green color results), can we consider that as a profitable keyword? I prefer quality over quantity. So I will have to spend more time to create my books. From your experience can you tell me, how often can we have a profitable keyword using publisher rocket? Thank you.

Hi Damian, a Green Light on both is a great indicator of a profitable keyword but in addition to this, see how that keyword stacks up by running it through Amazon and if you have it, KDP Spy and potentially Book Bolt too. Publisher Rocket is great however, in combination with using the other tools, they become very powerful. If they (PR, Book Bolt, KDSPY, Amazon) all have different results, I'd lean closer to using the results from Publisher Rocket and I've been able to get some excellent keywords by using this tool.

No, the software doesn’t work that way. It provides keyword research, category information plus lists of keywords you can place in any Amazon Ads you wish to run.

I had login problems on Amazon about 8 times and decided to stop using Amazon to self publish my books. Are there any other platforms that allow a writer to create their own book cover (Such as Amazon does) and allows a writer to self publish their books?

Anyway that you can promoted your books is so important. Too many people expect they can just place a book on Amazon and it will sell but how are people supposed to find it? I have found ads to be a really important way to promote to my direct customer base.

You can run them at a low daily budget and get benefit. Exposure is probably one of the biggest challenges for new authors. I'd be interested in taking a look at some of your books, do you have a link or any names of them?
