PTE 12: Answer without understanding the meaning! | Reading Fill in the Blanks Questions
The PTE Academic is an English test for university entrance (& visas, in some countries, including Australia). It’s also known as the Pearson Test of English. It’s similar to IELTS, but some people find it easier to achieve a high score with PTE (it depends on your skills). Master this test and you have a great chance of securing the university, the job and even the country of your choice. 😉

So, it's true... you can often answer these questions without understanding the meaning! But *sometimes* you DO need to understand meaning to answer. Watch till thde end to catch the Meaning Elimination Technique and how to do it.

Hi! I’d love to! Did you watch this video? I tried to teach you how to solve Reading Fill in the Blanks questions. Re scoring, you get full points if you correctly fill in every blank. You get some points if you correctly fill in some blanks. Does that answer your question?
Hi Mam, I watch your videos regularly. Can you please tell me, While doing the exam can click refresh? have done a few mock tests for PTE exam, so that until we submit the question we can refresh for the same. So that if I am not able to listen to the sentence properly, I will refresh it again. I know it is very silly, but still want to get clear and confirm.

Hi! Thanks for watching. As for your question... I recommend NOT clicking refresh. I personally never tried clicking refresh, but the information from Pearson (the company that runs PTE) is that clicking refresh might cause your test to stop or restart.... So it is risky. Practice apps work very differently to the real PTE test. So although I am not *sure* that clicking refresh won't work, I think a) it is not likely & b) PTE is too expensive to take a risk to find out.

I am making a targeted collocation list for my PTE course (coming soon). Until then, you can check these lists. But I am sorry; they are very long! Here is a list of everyday collocations: www.eslbuzz.com/common-preposition-collocations-in-english-2/ And here is Pearson’s list of academic collocations: www.pearsonpte.com/teachers/academic-collocation
