thank you Maika. could you make a video about how to deal with the issue of being cheated by another person and the problems that come along with it like lack of trust and the problem of perception like " who was i actually together with? i dont know who this person is anymore"

@@DrMaikaSteinborn is it also possible you think about adding this topic to your list? the topic of Ghosting and why people are doing it: just starting to ignore people you had some kind of relationship with before, and at the same time sending hidden messages through instagram posts to this same person ( protest-behaviour? ), sometimes very painful messages . - this is increasingly happening in younger generations today. they dont talk through conflicts anymore - they just ignore and move on to the next relationship, (because there are enough choices) and leaving big emotional tears for the people left behind ... it breaks the contract of trust between humans, which is a very deep desire and hard to repair

Yes, I can put it on my list, but I can't promise anything, the list is very long 😅 The behavior you've described does sound very difficult to be at the receiving end of... Sending hidden messages could definitely be protest behavior, it could also be not wanting to commit, but also not wanting to let go at the same time - it sounds like some form of protective/defensive mechanism to avoid vulnerability which is necessary in open dialogue about conflict.

@@DrMaikaSteinborn i agree. i think that person does view open dialogue as "drama, oversensitivity by the OTHER and feeling annoyed by difficult conversations" - so, its easier to ghost someone. i read comments from people on youtube who ghost other people - and it seems, these are the main reasons for them to ghost someone - because dialogue its only words, it doesnt solve anything and its not their responsibility to teach the other side about their wrong behaviours. so ghosting is the way to go... im not even sure if it is "emotionally immature", because these people really stand behind their opinion, so its part of their valuesystem

In most cases, ghosting isn't very fair. In many cases, the other person benefits from knowing/hearing why the ghoster wants to cut off contact.
