007 - The World is not Enough., developed by Black Ops Entertainment and published by EA in the year 2000.
"Bond Is Back. Bond's Best Missions! Battle through 10 exciting levels with a variety of objectives.
Over 20 Q-Lab Gadgets and Weapons! Bond's P2K, Infrared Glasses, Cell Phone Stunner, and many more. All new 3D Engine! High-resolution textures, fast framerate and amazing view distances make- this the best-looking POV game on the PlayStation® game console.
Experience the intensity of being the world's top secret agent. Equipped with a full arsenal of Q-Lab gadgets and weaponry, you must be suave and resourceful as you carry out action-packed missions based on the blockbuster movie. Are you cool under pressure? Cunning when necessary? Of course you are you're Bond ...James Bond."
This game uses multiple resolutions and is recorded 1:1 keeping the original resolutions.
After the previous 007 outing on ps1, the game returns to first person perspective. The controls are still a little clunky making sidestep/leaning while crouching/zooming/aiming difficult so I don't do a lot of that. It also very easy to get stuck on textures in this game. Speaking of textures, the game looks quite hires for a ps1 game with lots of detailed and varied artwork. The level maps are pretty small which is maybe what allows the game to show them this way.
For better or worse, I play on 007 difficulty while going for the Golden Gun on every level. The requirements to get the gun require speed and accuracy so I wasn't able to show play with most of the weapons such as the various automatic guns and grenades. The end result is more like a speedrun as I don't look around much. If it wasn't for the Golden gun objective I would have played much more conservatively. To get the gun you need to get at least a 16 star rating on the mission. Not that their is any real benefit other than unlocking the few cheat modes in the game.
Like the previous game, it steps things up on the last two levels although the boss fights are certainly much easier in this one.

YTube would not let us publish the video (Worldwide blocked). Everytime we tried to just remove the fmv it had issues with, it would have an issue with another after reuploading so in the end we just cut all fmv to get the gameplay out!

Funny how I always remember these games looking a lot better than they do lol
It's quite better version than N64 version in some aspects! After all this years i've never seen it
Fun fact: M and Bond's voice actors here would be heard again in Agent Under Fire.

Not a big surprise since the fact that Agent Under Fire were supposed to be PS2 The World Is Not Enough game instead. But sadly there is just a couple of teasers online of this content.

Bond was voiced by Andrew Bicknell in 007: Agent Under Fire - here, Tim Bentnick voices the character.
One of my favorite game growing up.
This is the best film and game that i've seen ever watched it! Thank you, Pierce Brosnan
Truly a ps1 horror game
Just got this game for my Bond collection. Haven't played this one before so I'm excited for a Bond game I haven't played to death.
First guard: “Sorry sir. This areas restricted to employees only.” Then proceeds to walk away from their post🤣😂
I use to have bond games not this one I enjoy seeing classics in videos again .
Great to watch; thanks for sharing! 😁👍👍

yeah i remember this game. i couldn't get past the body guard boos in the second to last level. did you not show the movie clips due to fear of copyright strike? you did an excellent job on this game overall, nice work.

Terminator 2 Judgement Day was masterpiece of a film the game was it bad?
this was good, but the N64 version was superior in visuals and level design. The N64 (this game also used the expansion pak) could just draw way more polygons on screen and have more complex gun models, character models and level architecture. Although I do like that actual movie clips were included in the PSX version. I wasn't a N64 owner in the 90's and was happy with the PSX library as it had way more variety and more mature games and weird niche games. I liked how they tried to do their best with the limited graphical ability, often resulting in more creative games with memorable characters and stuff.

Do you like how the game developers tried to do their best with the limited hardware ability of the Nintendo 64 or the PSX?

some game developers didn’t or weren’t able to try their best as game publishers gave them a strict budget or a tight deadline to work with

The one thing that bugged me about 64 version was recycled music for missions
Old but gold
I remember playing this and giving up on the last mission. 11 yo me could not figure it out. Good time tho.
Is crazy that they turn this from "Electronic Arts" to "EA Games" before they dropped Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 for PS2, Gamecube, XBOX, & PC.
Sick
I remember this game
This game came to fix the epic disaster of 007 Tomorrow Never Dies (ugly, broken and using a 3rd person view).

Game is just as good as the movie
Black ops should've made TND in first person also
Who says the world is not enough
Not a bad game but the N64 version is definitely better as it feels more like a sequel to Goldeneye rather than a fairly standard linear shooter Aside from the casino level which was interesting
man, the n64 version was soo much better.
clearly an inferior work over the N64 version but i still loved to play it back in the day!

i agree N64 version is clearly better as it is on a 32 MB cartridge + if expansion pack is added it enhances or updates the graphics (visuals) + Eurocom Entertainment Software developed it👍 PS1 version looks incompetent, lazy, rushed if it took 17 months to develop by Black Ops Entertainment 👎 Most of Blacks Ops games are awful, crap, dreadful, garbage, horrible, rubbish, shit, terrible
Tomorrow Never Dies is better game
the n64 version is better, m8s
