PSO2 NGS will be getting a new combat system with it's own skill tree called M.A.R.S which stands for Multirole Arks Reactive System. If you remember dark blasts from base pso2, you can consider these in their own way a ngs version of dark blasts. M.A.R.S. will have a meter that you will build up during combat, apparently they will also add things in combat/ on the map so that you can charge the meter faster like how they do photon blasts. You can use M.A.R.S. for 2 minutes and can toggle in and out of it even if you haven't fully charged the meter! There are 4 different variants according to the footage - Garm - Nidhoggr - Scylla - Hydra. This will be released on July 31st 2024!!!
Personally I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do, honestly I'm glad they are adding something new to improve combat. *crosses fingers
