I just recently got the PSA gen4 PX9 with the 4" barrel. It has been surprisingly accurate and reliable so far through the first 500 rounds. I've put a bunch of old, cheap ammo through it too and it just chugged along. I did order the model with the SB tac brace. That was a must

I got one with an 8” barrel and the psa proprietary flash thing. Awesome pistol for the money. So I got one in 5.56 with 10.5” barrel. I love them both.

yea the flash can works pretty well i've been happy with it. i also build an 8.5 inch pistol from them and it has had zero malfunctions. probably do a review on that one also but it'll probably be zucced.

I got the sb3 brace on mine but the same Barrel and I love mine. No problems at all and it is very accurate at 25 and 50. I feel like mine is pretty light tho but i don’t have the back ups or light just the new smaller afg.

I'm putting a SB brace on mine. Did you find no detent spring behind lock plate? It doesn't even have a hole for a spring to sit in.

On the ar9 it is recommended that you replace the firing pin and run either the stock ar15 hammer spring or a heavier spring. Equip that with a 10oz buffer and you should be fine

Nope. Just have to loosen the screw that holds it on and slip on the sba3.

Mine is being shipped and looking forward to its arrival. Gen4 with 10 inch barrel fully assembled cost $750.00. Seems like reviews from a year ago they were more like $500. Is the difference just supply and demand or build differences? The current price seems fair and very happy to score one at all in today's market. It's just harder to convince the wife of an $800 car repair vs a $500 one. How many alternators can one Mercury Mountaineer need after all?
