Hi mate, im in doubt. Wich headset gives the best audio quality? the pulse 3d or the steel series 7p? because you should think, the pulse 3d headset is designed for the ps5, so it gives better 3d audio tempest then the steelseries 7p? what is your`e experience? what do you recommended me?

If only I could have a pair that look this sleek but had the mic of the new arctis joints… the mic on those sound way better. Still love the 3D immersion, especially in DMC5:SE

Just to give some background I’ve been gaming since the Atari 2600 days. I really liked your video and agreed with most but my question was on your criticisms of where they put the volume controls, I don’t think I’ve ever had a pair of gaming headsets where the volume rocker/buttons weren’t on one of the speakers that go over the ears? I don’t know I was just looking for clarity as to what you would of wanted? Anyways great video 👍🏻 #ps5

It's so hard when people are so divided on the 3d Pulse. Some find them super comfortable and some don't at all. And then some people hate the sound quality compared to some other more expensive headset xD... I might get these Been looking to buy a decent priced Bluetooth headphones.

Very nice... Review... Here in India the only affordable Gaming headset from Sony... I want to buy an artcis 7p from steel series but it costs like 350$ here in US dollars.. So after searching n watching many videos I can only go with this one as my daily driver for gaming and from this video I get, I believe it's also good for some content consumption too...

What was your impressions of the headset bro? My only concern about it, was the comfort? Pulse way more affordable as the steel series is like twice the price of the pulse in india

I’ve been using it for while and the audio is great as well as the mic and is supy comfy and I plated competive and I’ll tell you this audio lets you know where they at the 3D audio so crispy and good

Good in-depth review. Have found that my HD599's plugged into the ps5 controller dound a fair bit better than the Pulse3d headset (even for surround sound titles like astro playroom). Suspect the open backed design benefits the surround sound/sound stage more than the closed back design does.

@@pro-vk2pd the sound does seem a little muffled, but i’m an audiophile so it’s not even really noticeable. i personally like using the controller mic in with the headphones audio out as the mic on the controller is much better than the one on the headset. other than that, no issues!

I've seen so many mixed reviews of this headset and isn't it down to personal opinion as to why people think the mic is either trash or really good? It is imo anyway!! Obviously if people are using the Astros A50s for example and then buy these and the quality isn't going to be better is it? and then you'll have the people who've always had a standard headset and then buy these and are amazed. I'm just going to buy these and make my own mind up.

I bought both the 7p and pulse prefer the 7p way more comfy in my opinion the pulse just doesn’t sit well on my head like the ear drums have spots were it doesn’t even cover my ear and I find them slipping around constantly, if your on a budget then get the pulse but if you can afford another 50 the 7p ftw, a bit better sound, more bass but the pulse had one feature I liked better can hear noises a little farther away, but on the 7ps I can pin point where the sound is coming from better and not to mention you can change the eq settings to how u like them, it’s a little annoying u have to change the chat mix in the game but I mean once you do it don’t need to change again and I don’t like that Sony made that feature exclusive to only their headsets.

I agree the 7ps are awesome

Is the too much pressure on the front of the ear cups? Like an unever pressure as they attach on one side at the front. Also the 3d audio works on all head sets. It's a setting on the playstation. They just have it tuned specifically for games & the song they want. Conspiracy theory is because they took away eq for whatever stupid reason so you have to buy these or a very expensive pair you can adjust on your pc or with a pre-amp etc. I am not sure I can trust your review of your said the mic quality was ok because everyone says it's terrible. Have you tested the mic in an actual game online. If they mic was better this would be the best cheapest wireless gaming Headset. Neut to get an open back headset & a modmic. It's cheaper and they sound better plus more comfortable. Open back also keys me hear the controller sounds in Returnal to let you know secondsry for is charged as for some reason it does only come through controller & it's important in that game.

EQ settings doesnt show up in control center on sound section.And i cannot see any indications on ps5 when i use the headset buttons. I cannot see any indications on screen when i change volume/mute unmute/game chat volume. How do i fix it?😭😭😭😭

The headset look really good quality from Sony, probably works best with the PS5. Not so much for every other device

Personally I love their audio,how music sounds,mic and everything else except comfort. Unfortunately it is uncomfortable after 1h but that is of course only my experience but hopefully it is only question of time because I used earphones for long time :D

Same here, I love the design and looks, audio is decent, but I was playing Apex Legends yesterday and had to keep on readjusting them because it felt like it wasn't setting nicely on my ears and top of my head. I went ahead and ordered the Artic 7+ and Astros so will see which one I will end up keeping and which two I will be returning.

Yeah when first got them there kinda uncomfortable when wearing them for the first time but I think I need to get used to them, because I was used to my turtle beach headset

my dad purchased another headset that cost 150 and this review tells me that the pulse 3d is the same features and cost less

My hyper x cloud jus keeps lookin at me with disappointment the amount of times i try to replace it but end up going back bc they sound way better 🙄🙄

Mediocre...sorry I'd say shit in this price. I still recommend HyperX Cloud 2 if u r looking for audio quality in a wireless headphone tho. Yeah it's not new & not fashion but it's good in this price tag.

Maybe they could just get the PlayStation to sound good in Dolby mode without having a 15 year delay and lag and sound. Plus the headphones sound like crap because they don’t get loud enough at all.

Sorry but no, took them back in 10 minutes after putting them on, fit was bad. Ear cups horrible, like 5 cents plastic. My son was like ouch they hurt and mic was a joke. Guy at best buy said ya your not the only one who has returned them. We have lots of returns on these.

@@spookynights7665maybe it works for Sony, but definitely not Samsung. Doesn’t show up as an available audio when usb is plugged into the tv. BUT, I don’t think it matters, they are best for PS5 gaming. In my opinion, i just use them for that.

I wouldn't buy it. It's awful. Build quality feels very cheap. Very uncomfortable wearing as well.

What headset do you recommend

I picked these up and took them back the next day. The Ear Cup is too small. Very unconformable. Didn't even turn it on to hear it. Pay $50 More and get the SteeleSeries 7P You won't regret it.. Covers your entire ear. Very Conformable and Audio Quality is better..

They are a little better audio wise, definitely way more comfortable in my opinion I bought both to see which ones I like better have played with both and the 7p are the way to go especially since I can change the eq settings, it’s a little annoying that I have to change chat through the game but worth it
