Portable consoles have always tickled my fancy after seeing a Gamecube screen add-on. I like this one, especially since they left the HDMI open for other inputs so you could use the screen for something else, or plug the PS5 into a bigger monitor.

Setup went so well. Even the shade from the car and especially the scenery.

I wonder what people passing by thought of you playing PS5 by the beach out of the back of your car with an arcade stick.

Always thought the GameCube screen and the series s screen were really cool. It's neat to see somebody got one to work with the ps5 given its not so flat shape.

I feel this is for very selective people, for example people that have to go on work trips for extended time and don't have access to a large tv or monitor with limited overall room space, thats when a device like this can be handy. Especially in Europe where not every room has the same ameneties

6:38 yeah, 4k is crazy, even on a TV you have to look up close to find the pixels i'd even say that at that screen size, the 2k 120hz option would be best, you'd have to use a magnifier to find the pixels on a 4k screen that size, nice part of this is how inky the screen feels

i would MAYBE consider this but i have the 1000 model PS5 and im VERY careful about the HDMI port on it bc of reports of this model having weak HDMI ports that can break.. nonetheless, AMAZING demo! and LOL u went to the beach to play Street fighter! that setup looks sick! hah

can you review the battle beaver ps4 smart pad? its price is crazy but the different d pad buttons and shoulder buttons interest me. there's a ps5 version as well if that would be something you would prefer to look at.

Trophy unlocked PS5 pro that looks like a big Mac but man I'm not hating on this. It does save space & not shove it in a stupid bag. Not gonna lie I enjoyed knowing about this product.

How were you able to plug it in?

I personally wouldn't like playing video games outside in the sun because it might be hard to see the screen compared to being inside of a house somewhere. When i play video games on my playstation, I usually do it in a room that is sort of dark.

I think it's a truly awesome idea, but I would be somewhat concerned about overheating issues. Surely if you have a monitor strapped to the top of the console, it would raise the overall temperature of both the monitor and console? I mean, the console wasn't designed to have anything sitting on top of it, really. Would love to hear some feedback from extensive testing, long gaming sessions etc!

Definitely 2k or 1080p @120hz. For FPS games, you need the highest frames possible for smooth gameplay without ghosting or blur.

It doesn’t cover any air vents but it is physically positioned above a big fan. I don’t think it should affect cooling

I’ve never tried using it that long but you should be able to calculate it using the size of the battery you have and the power consumption of your console
