The biggest let down about this pad is the lack of 2.4ghz dongle. When I connect it to my steam deck the input lag is aweful. Same issue with the sn30pro2 controller and the majority of dpad centric controllers in general. The only 2 I found that fit the bill are retroflag megadrive controller and retrobits Saturn controller.

i like the DTTO or other cases which have the surround cubby for the pencil. With cove closed, cubby is covered too. No future flabbiness of fabric or elastic fray. Hands on, ipad mini, liked. But, material of cases edges are not use friendly, and not easily cleaned. There are pro ipad sizes. Not sure the good outweighs bad for those sizes. But, yrs, for mini.

I bought this controller when it released first for the Nintendo Switch [to feel more comfortable playing the Street Fighter Collection and SkullGirls]. Then I found out it could work with my PC and started using it for Street Fighter V and dolphin CvS2. When Street Fighter 6 was announced, I knew I NEEDED this type of controller [6button fightpad style] for my XBOX, but couldn't find one so I decided to spend some money on the wingman controller adapter only so I could connect THIS specific controller to my XBOX and be able to play SF6 with it. THAT'S HOW GOOD THIS CONTROLLER IS.

Bought one earlier, should arrive tomorrow. Upgrading from a 2018 11 inch Pro to the 11 inch M4. Price was absurd imo, but I plan on keeping it for a long time. Hoping Procreate will update soon so I can try out the new pencil features!

An easy solution for the "unhinged design", is to print a thicker handle at the top for it to be at your desired angle. Seems like an easy enough thing to make customizable to the end user.

Eh... I stopped with 3rd party on switch. I used 8bitdo religiously until I just went back to pro controller. If it had NFC id go back but the rare times I need NFC for Zelda, omg it became a damn nightmare to use amiibos. With any missing features I cant call it ultimate. Its the best controller for other consoles though

I wish apple figure out how to replicate the feel of on paper drawing and not hard plastic on glass... It's the only thing I'm waiting. After years and years I still not get the hard plastic on glass feeling.
@NihongoGamer2 күн бұрын
Mimicking a paper texture is not difficult but it does compromise the experience for people who prefer a perfectly clear video consumption experience. For drawing you can opt for the nano textured glass model but for a fully paper textured feel you are still probably better off with a screen protector. Also many users probably won’t like the way a textured surface rubs away the tips of the Apple Pencil which would need replacement more often.

If small size and portability are the goal, Junk Food Arcades' Snackbox Micro line still beats this handily, no? I guess if you really need traditional, non-low profile switches then this product fits the niche of "take up a little less space", I guess. Now, if the company would put in the work to make something that actually supports multiple ergonomic configurations, that might make a more interesting product.

It would be cool if they added notches to the hinge design or something so you could set the angle yourself
@TheAcesShow5 күн бұрын
Would be even cooler if it folded inwards to allow the buttoms to face inwards to protect it a bit more. Would have to give it some rubber stoppers on the corners so it wouldnt close on itself but that would be a cool iteration

You could 3D print a new handle for the controller that has a wedge-shaped taper so that the controller naturally stops at an angle when unfolded. EDIT: Actually you could instead print an adapter which fits around the inside of the handle to add the angle

and no offense since when do i need a controller to hinge? it’s still just as bulk as an arcade stick so this hinged concept does absolutely nothing completely useless gimmick. doesn’t help with airport security least a regular arcade stick people recognize. i hate when stick manufacturers focus on leds turbo buttons and why are there analogs on controllers for fighting game pads??? who uses the analog just make a solid d pad lol i don’t need fluff i want functionality i wish someone would make a korean style lever the only one i know of without modding your stick is etokki and good luck on getting one of those
@broman-qv1in5 күн бұрын
what are you talking about this is so useful the fact that you can change the playing angle like he showed in the video is a game changer. No arcade stick does this. Also folding helps to store it it take less space you can just put it in your cabinet easily. The airport issue can happen with any custom fightstick though so not really an argument. The only issue for me is the price but this is probably due to the brook boards being too expensive, which in the end is understandable
