Killing Poseidon and Zeus still stick with me for how metal they both were.

Shit still gives me chills. The music. The camera angles. The just epic dive Kratos does when we grab Poseidon.....First game I preordered with the collectors pandora box. No regrets

2:52 is a tutorial that tells you what to do next 3:29 there's one too 3:43 also 3:53, 4:21, 4:50 shows you where to go and what to do. 5:05 second time this pops up. 5:34 I'm gonna assume this entire video is littered with tutorials and I don't have time for that. Loved playing the games growing up! Had to turn off tutorials myself because they were annoying.

@@Kamusari92 The toned down, family friendly way this series to going i wont be surprised if the Gods of Olympus end up being way superior to the next gods aswell. Probably easily the most powerful pantheon in all GoW, seeing with how Kratos himself comes from there and Zeus' intro speech in GoW 3 about his pantheon.

There's something really special about its overall controls, pacing, and fantastic balance of easily keeping your combos high even if it's trimmed down and simplified compared with the others. I plan on playing it a 3rd time guaranteed. Ascension is definitely underrated.

The only frustrating thing about this fight was Poseidon's tunnel vision; every time he spoke it was to Kratos, the tiny demigod swinging around slashing at his pets and yet he didn't even once speak to or even acknowledge the presence of his own (Gigantic) grandmother Gaia who was as much a threat as her passenger

“Zeus your son has returned” chills

The old GOW has the best gameplay and cinematics.

It's weird watching Kratos body Greek gods who are these colossal beings in power and size. Then watching him fight Baldur, you truly realize how much he's holding back. Every hit from young Kratos makes these giant sized beings flinch while older Kratos can't even make enemies like Baldur flinch hitting him.

They might not be able to kill him but they would definitely incapacitate him, hell the sisters of fate could probably take away his invulnerability

Honestly wished Poseidon defeated Gaia single handedly and kratos fought him alone, that could legit be the biggest achievement for kratos out of all of them

For someone who's known as the God of the sea, And the great 3, Poseidons death was pitiful. I think even Helios put up a decent fight before having his head ripped off. Poseidons gigantic form and serpentine horses didn't account to nothing.

@@jamesmuise2499 we had to fight a bunch of shield enemies and a Cyclops for the Helios boss fight. Poseidon was just cinematic, once we free Gaia from his grasp and he is out of the sea, there is no fight whatsoever, it was just QTEs. Hades was a 3 level boss fight, and defeating Zeus to almost an hour.

@@wadeblack1814 I played through the game twice, and each time Helios went down faster than Posidon. When it comes to him you have a mini adventure on Gaia and then fight him directly. The shield enemies and one cyclops doesn't amount to that.

Sea is practically Poseidon's domain, so outside of the Sea , he is weak

God of war 3 graphics was so unique and eye catching

This made me getting a PS3 SO MUCH worth it! Alongside InFamous that is. The boss fights were just SO EPIC!! A classic. Makes me want to play it right now.

No hay que olvidar que se enfrentó a Kratos y a Gaia juntos xd no era para nada débil xd ademas Kratos estaba a Full de fuerza , prácticamente igual que al final de GOW 2 con un poder como para matar a Zeus , claro... Como es un jefe inicial no te van a dar todas las armas y magias de GOW 2 pero igual Kratos Kratos en teoría tenia el mismo poder que en GOW 2

I was ready for this game since GOW2’s cliffhanger ending and kicking the can down the road prequels. Seeing Poseidon rise up to try and be intimidating only made me angrier. You really connected with Kratos playing this series.

In Gow Ghost of Sparta His Mom was in His Temple and Poseidon sent Scyalla to Kill Kratos even though he was supposed to be on the same side since Kratos was the New God of War.

@@wadeblack1814 you can't hurt water , it was Gaia who pulled Poseidon out of his water body and then kratos killed him , otherwise there was no way kratos could even touch Poseidon , if kratos can't hurt or defeat him then obviously eventually he will lose his spirit and will get exhausted , he wasn't even a god anymore , ofcourse he has his limits and GOW4 clearly shows it when baldur beats the crap Outta him

poseidon form is amazing

In my old greek mythology book the titans were supposed to be more powerful. Disappointed with how much of a push over they were. The colors look a bit more vibrant in some cases but hard to tell how much on my 1080p screen.
