I'm here for the N64 Recomp and the mk monks. Me and my 5 year old daughter are currently playing co-op on mk monks. I seen a ultimate mk3 arcade cabinet at a near by Roses dept store when i was a young kid. I will never forget it. I've been with mk since the snes release of mk1 then moved to the sega, then n64/ps1 etc.. glad to see mk sholin monks getting some love. Great episode 👍💪

@@MrMario2011 Exactly 😂 ABACABBA I got MK2 on sega for my birthday when it came out. Iconic for its time. I'll never forget it. I should have bought 10 copies of UMK3. Literally looking at gold back then.

I've been to a couple arcades. I love the atmosphere, but man does the advanced perspective of time really drive home how some of these games were designed to get quarters out of you first and be fun second.

Great vid sir. I own a few A1Ups and I also build my own Arcade cabinets as I learned wood working during quarantine. I also built a racing rig before selling it using a modded PS3 (thanks to your guide) as well as digital pinball using my Switch.

I'm actually building my own arcade cabinet... Is something I said 10 years ago as I gathered tools and materials and then life happened and now it's in the garage with the other pile of projects i need to finish ... X ) That being said I'm happy people are still looking at the Sega Saturn and trying to figure stuff out like this. It's super cool, especially since I just ordered a Saroo cart.

When I was younger I loved going to the arcade. I sucked, but I still had a good time especially at Chuck E Cheese and the miniature golf!

I've only ever been to an ARCADE once. I don't even remember what games I played. But I'd sure love it if Arcades came back.

Hey, is there a way to remove/hide the PS Store & What's New icons from the PS4 Dashboard? They're pretty pointless on a hacked PS4.

I have an original Battlezone upright arcade machine that I need to give some love, as well as several arcade motherboards, including a Bubble Bobble board, as well as a "clone" Bobble Bobble.

I am afraid you are going to have to wait long time or it's not coming anymore🤷 Because Sony fixed the let's call it the leak in firmware 11.02. So if you are on firmware higher than 11.00 you cannot jailbreak your PS4 with the network port.

Dude thoughts on the MvC2 relaunch? That had to be the God Teir of arcade cabinets I remember seeing as a kid. There’s really nothing quite like that game and I’m glad it’s being revived.

Definitely happy to see it! I'm not a huge fighter fan these days, but it was a pleasant surprise. Although this piece of advice I saw online is probably worth passing on: Might want to go physical for this release. With all the licensing and how many times that game has gone into limbo, I wouldn't be surprised if the digital copy gets randomly delisted.

Well they say that you can connect your pi on the usb from you ps4. But my pi 3b+ dont get enough voltage from the usb port so everytime restart. So it cannot be connected to the usb port to jailbreak the ps4.

I've been following a couple of YT chans from people that OWN their own ARCADES!!!! They're in TX and they do a lot of resto to some of the older machines they get, but they mainly have new machines in their ARCADE!! (NEW arcade games?!?!? ion 2024?!?! I know, right?!?? WHEN DID THEIS HAPPEN?!? lol) But the COOLEST one they have is actually a CUSTOM ARCADE Machine that is NOT an actual Arcade game... it's MK1 !!!!! They put a PS5 inside the ARCADE cabinet with a BEEFED UP SOUND SYSTEM and a HUGE WIDESCREN OLED and some BEAUTIFUL Sticks and Buttons!!! - MIND BLOWN!!! And th3y actually MADE TWO OF THEM!!!! And to wrap-up the MIND BLOWING for this comment, it's actually an ARCADE owned and run by The 8-Bit Guy (if you know anything about the retro computing scene here on KZread then you will DEFINETLY know who The 8-Bit Guy is lol) and his brother & their friend!!! In fact that friend just put out a video of him going to a Mini Golf & ARCADE place (that also has a couple ROLLER COASTERS and an a couple other Amusement Park type rides) located in Phoenix, AZ (I wish I could remember the name off the top of my head) and they showed the arcade and MY MIND IS STILL BLOWN AWAY!!! Did you know there is a HALO ARCADE MACHINE THAT IS THE SIZE OF A MID-SIZED CAR?!?!?!? IT'S HUGE!!!!! There were SOOOO MANY ARCADE MACHINES I HAD NO IDEA EXISTED!!! There's are NEW version of the 'Crusin USA/World' franchise! So many IP's now have Arcade games you wouldn't expect... SO MANY NEW MACHINES!!! I guess they went on making ARCADE machines even though they went the way of the Dodo and no one seems to have known! This places had 3 STORIES of Arcade floor!! All kinds of physical machines too! and even a collection of 'old school' games (from our era, the pinnacle of ARCADES.... you know, the Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter generation... before consoles killed the ARCADES) kinda tucked away in a dark corner, with almost only blacklights to light things up, the way they used to be... Oh so the name of the place was Castles 'n' Coasters in Phoenix, AZ and Electric Starship was who did the video tour... hopefully you can find it :)

My opinion is to stay on 9.00 or lower, but if you're on something higher than 9.00 then it'll probably be best to go to 11.00

9.60 is hackable too, but the process is the same as 11.00 which is unfortunate. I thought it'd be as simple as 9.00's version.

I’m kind of confused here, I thought the only available jailbreak was from 9.00 downward or there is now up to 11.0?

Yep, there is a new jailbreak for firmware up to 11.00. PPpwn is the name from the new jailbreak. It can jailbreak your PS4 over the network port. But only till 11.00 after Sony fixed it so if you run 11.02 already it's not possible anymore.

9.60/11.00 But watch a video of the hacking process... It's a bit of a chore. It ain't as easy as 9.00 or less.

I have 3 ps4 with NoBD stuck at 5.00 firmware when Sony decided not to update ps4s with broken DRIVES...they collect dust on my basement😢, I hope they come up with something to make my ps4s work again!

I played through it last year, it's really good!

Last night I realised I had some xbox lightguns... and an Xbox Kiosk unit. Shortly after I was blasting bad guys in House Of The Dead 3 with my own fake ARCADE cabinet. (I also do have a Neo Geo MVS cabinet though)

I bought a bunch of cheap PS4s and 2/3 PS4s came with hackable firmwares. 10.01, 11.00, 11.02 I'm not going to use these PS4s (but resell) unless it had 9.00 or less as JB'ing 11.00 is a god damn hassle.

11.02 is just low enough that it might be worth reverting the firmware in the hope that the last firmware on it was 11.00 or lower

@@PhilipMarcYT a damn hassle? I don't know what you are doing but I have jailbreak my PS4 on 11.00 in 30 minutes. You just put the script on your raspberry pi and the goldhen on your usb stick. And everything runs automatically to jailbreak your PS4. The only thing that you must not do is turn off your PS4 because then you lose goldhen on your PS4. But if you keep it on sleeping mode the next time your turn on you PS4 goldhen runs automatically again.

​@taztaz5435 Compared to 9.00, it is. Besides, I have 9.00 PS4s so don't need to mess around with 11.00 FW. The only reason anyone would use 9.60/11.00 is if they don't have access to a 9.00 or less.

Is there a good reason to update PS4 from FW 9.00 to 11.00?

Not in my opinion, since 9.00 is quite stable and I haven't seen anything on 11.00 that you cannot do on 9.00, unless you want to play games which require that higher firmware update.

I even think that other bloggers on KZread even say that if you run a stable older version don't upgrade. Because the old jailbreak works on other entry point than this new one is doing. But you can also watch some videos from modded warfare he also explains things about jailbreak ps4

I would personally update to 11.00 If you are on that high of a firmware, since 9.60 and 11.00 will use the same entry point.
