same for me, and it's smaller. I'm currently using one right now, planning to put it inside my ps4 pro later.

​​@@ARGhi I haven't wired it internally I thought I will do that after some testing. But I am typically (like 5 of 10 times) getting about 2 minutes (and the least I got is 1min very very rarely and the maximum is 4 minutes). I'm finding it a lot slower because the c++ port of the script was much much faster like 1 min typically. Am I doing something wrong? Using mini B (the model with flash) and no sd card method which is supposed to be faster than sd card method)

excellent tutorial, thanks for sharing. I have a question. I have the luckfox pico plus. I can solder the ethernet cables underneath the luckfox board to avoid bending the connector pins.

I was unable to validate a direct connection from the pads/pins under the pico and I think this was due to the Ethernet port having some type of logic built in but others have used the pico that has no Ethernet port so it could be possible but I don't know how to do this sorry.

Why not remove the big head and take the point from the lower side from the luckfox?

can you make one with rv1103 no sd? use some termofill for the large cable

I did see a few people on Reddit have done this to normal and ps4 pros so have a look and if you can’t find it let me know and I will see what if I can find the post in my history.

I managed to get my luckfox pro working but prohrammes like youtube or homebrew store dont work . Ps4 jailbreak though. . raspberry pi allows youtube with no issues . Is it a problem with the luckfox?

So the luckfox is not able to pass through an internet connection like the pi so once you jailbreak the ps4 you then need to connect to WiFi or then plug Ethernet from ps4 to router and set network settings back to lan / easy setup. Goldhen will make sure the ps4 will refuse updates but after you turn off and on the ps4 if it reconnects it will try and update unless you make sure the auto update is turned off.

@@ARG thanks . Little bit less safe then than the raspberry pi method . A lan cable to the router would lose its appeal as I'm trying to cut back on cables

What kind of wire do you use to solder the connections with the pico. Copper?

I have loads of network cables so I cut one and used the wire from that so yes copper, It also helped with wiring as I used the orange and green twisted pairs.

Is there room to plug an ethernet cable in to the Pico (rather than bend the pins) then strip the cable and solder that to the PS4?

Cable I have has a big plug you know the ones with the rubber shell so that looked to be too big but if you have a small one then yes it should fit also if you have a usb c cable and cut it you can do the same for power.

Not sure if it was mentioned and I missed it but can you still use the ethernet connection after this install?

Just tested this and yes you can BUT ! This is what I did Turned the PS4 on from the complete power off state and the network settings had been set to pppoe for the luckfox After it had done the jailbreak I plugged in the network cable and set the network over LAN and easy option connected fine and I went on Home Brew store and updated some apps, FTP also worked fine. Now the network settings would need to be changed back and forth so not great if every time you want to use the PS4 you also need network connectivity but if it's only to send content to the PS4 via FTP then no big deal. I hope this helps.

As far as how it works, no difference at all. It’s just cleaner as it’s all internal but if you can’t solder or you want the easy way then using the plug in the lan port solution will do exactly the same thing.

Do i really need pico max? Other types of pico cannot be use?

En 9.00 vous devez allez dans les paramètres guide utilisateur/ infos utiles ou aller sur l’application internet.

Could use Pico mini, it is half size without rj45, just pins.

@@ViiRoK77the only way to jailbreak ps4 11.00 is with the exploit the flow found and it’s through the network wired connection so ppoe. Yes you need rj45 connection as no other way to do it unfortunately.

not doing that sort of content anymore, Have you not seen all the lawsuits being handed out? Also currently as far as I know all shops gone and nobody is even thinking of making any new ones.

Can we still use gigabit ethernet for FTP installs or will this blow something up if I plug it to my router?

@@jackipiegg No packet loss as the pico turns off after the jailbreak is done and speed test is the same as before so no difference on that score.

Echt gar nicht mal so dumm, das Teil zu integrieren. Das ist ein richtiger Fortschritt.
