@@bartbarnett2811 Back when I first had it, GTA Vice City and vice city stories were on the app store. I checked recently and now they're all gone. They've removed a lot of games, so unless you had it before hand, I believe there's no way to get it again. Hopefully I'm wrong?

This was helpful, I was scared that the battery went bad after not turning it on in around a year. I went PCMR and hardly touch my old PSVITA or PS3 anymore but they do still offer a lot of fun and memories.

I thought the battery was dead and then I saw this video and had high hopes that it would turn on again and it did, I left it untouched for about 3 years and it turned on👍🏼

Thanks 5 years later, just dug my Vita out of storage and had the same minor heart attack everyone else here did! Only took about 10-15 minutes to go solid on mine but I'm still gonna leave it for a bit as I'm working.

Phew that's a relief! Thanks for this reasurring video! I did have a panic on there for a while. I've just bought a second hand ps vita off Ebay. It's in pristine condition so I didn't think there could be anything wrong with it, and I got the flashing orange light too. This video has put my mind to rest....it's flashing away right now, but only had it on 10 minutes so far. The Ebay description said barely used, but looking at it I would say never used, so knew it couldn't be much to worry about.

Lol I thought my PSVITA was dead I was planning a funeral lol thank you sooooo much 😂👍

Does the battery discharge even when not plugged into the motherboard? I disassembled my Vita and kept the battery unplugged for a few months and the battery was completely dead.

i have a problem where my vita is flashing orange but when i turn it on it works and then it turns blue and when i turn it off it turns back to flashing orange

I get the flashing orange light but it doesnt go solid after a while, to just goes blank. At that point it lets me turn it on, indicating it was charging but there is no charge symbol at the top right and it eventually dies again. What should I do?

GTA 5 doesn't exist for playstation vita, only for ps3 and 4. There are some gta games though for vita but they are only available through the playstation store

Okay so what would happen if the battery is completely dead and won't turn on and charging it doesn't work? Simply giving it power won't turn it on? I have my PSP and the battery swole up so i took it off but i plugged it with the charger and it turns on. Of course if i unplug it it will go off; but I'm just wondering if the PSVita has the same solution even if no battery is present.
