► Things my patients have found helpful:
Please note that I get a lot of requests and questions about what equipment is ‘best’ for treating a variety of conditions. The following is not meant to be an exhaustive or definitive list. Please use it as a starting point. If you have questions, please discuss with your healthcare provider. With that said, I have tried a number of the products below, but not all. Unfortunately, Medicare and other insurance don't pay for PRP. I am managing bone-on-bone arthritis with gel injections along with physical, cold laser, and shock wave therapy.

I’m prime target for this video. I have mild arthritis on both knees and considered the arthroscopic cleaning that insurance covers.

It would seem sensible to get it cleaned up before PRP. My knees make crunching/mushing sounds when bending. Must be pretty messy in there.

I appreciate your information. I’m trying postpone my second TKA and am considering PRP. My Dr basically rolled his eyes when I asked about it, haha. looking for someone who supports it, he said he’d find me “someone” but I’d like it done right. 😊

I had a cortisone injection and it helped for like 3 weeks after that it started to hurt again and the worst thing is the fatigue and puffy eyes. I wanna try everything cause I hate it so much.

PRP did nothing for me, neither did cortisone or durolane injections.

Insurance won't cover it. When will medical professionals advocate for their patients? It's in your financial interest
