Portal 2 Community Maps & Mods
Some classic Portal gel physics problem solving through a science sphere of yesteryear.
Once we work out how to actually get into it that is, the maintenance on this place really went downhill after the whole neurotoxin thing and the old enrichment spheres were already badly neglected.

Thank you for joining me as I test my way through the infinite number of community test chambers, custom made testing scenarios, mods, player made maps, and levels available for Portal, Portal 2, Aperture TAG, Thinking with Time Machine, and Portal: Reloaded through the Steam Workshop.

It was fun to see you propel yourself through this one. BEN77 maps are generally not overly complicated, at least not the ones I've played so far, but very well put together, enjoyable to solve and they look great too.

agreed, I need to play more of them!
I love ben77 maps. He somehow manages to make the old aperture maps especially feel like they would be in the games. Or atleast make good chambers only with elements that old aperture allows.
Love me some BEN77 builds! They were some of my favorites back in the day, always good stuff. By modern standards, they'd be "pretty straight Portal", but back when hammer maps were few and far between, they were extra special as they are good puzzles and looked like the real campaign.
12:36 the main campaign used these as places where you do not need to respawn the cube
Chell is NOT fat, damn it! How do you not understand that?! GLaDOS just says that to try to break your spirit.

I am not entirely sure if you're being sarcastic or not. 👀

Yes the pipes are loud but in an underground suspended chamber from 1973 I’m more surprised that all the lights are on. Also the bases of the pillars are concrete so it makes sense that they’d all be portalable. Ground up moon rocks wouldn’t be too dissimilar from any other ground up rocks.
This one was fun to play on my own!. Thanks for making me play it!
3:14 - Are you sure that it, _checks notes_ , "3b: hits (a ball) without much force so that it bounces slowly along the ground"? 19:39 - You kept nearly running into the solution, but stopping short lol 25:23 - BEN77's maps are all very very good, you should play more of them in the future :) Great video as per usual!
cool map! i started trying to do hammer again, hopefully i succeed this time! ill post in #mapping in the discord if i ever make something cool
I'm curious. Should maps include an option to disable dialogues, custom (potentially copyrighted) music and otherwise? It certainly wouldn't be difficult to implement, quite easy actually, just curious if content creators like yourself would benefit from such.
Wait a test I have not played well thx for the test ngeruma
