Propranolol Review 2024 |

Propranolol is a medication that belongs to a class of drugs called beta-blockers. It's used to treat a variety of conditions, including high blood pressure, irregular heartbeats, chest pain (angina), and tremors. It can also help prevent migraines and improve survival after a heart attack.
Propranolol works by blocking the effects of certain hormones on the heart and blood vessels. This helps to slow down the heart rate, lower blood pressure, and reduce the workload on the heart.
Propranolol can be helpful in managing the physical symptoms of anxiety, such as a racing heart, tremors, and sweating. It works by blocking the effects of adrenaline and noradrenaline, chemicals that cause these physical responses during anxiety.
It's important to note that propranolol doesn't treat the underlying cause of anxiety. It's typically used for short-term relief of physical symptoms in situations where anxiety is likely to arise, such as public speaking or performances.
If you're struggling with anxiety, it's important to consult with a doctor or licensed therapist to discuss a treatment plan that addresses both the physical and mental aspects of anxiety.

I’ve been on it for 3 years for tachycardia. It definitely helped with feelings of panic. I also have Graves’ disease. The problem is trying to come off it and it’s been near impossible for me. I’ve managed to quit opioids and stop smoking and that’s nothing compared to my Propanolol ER. I get a super rebound heart rate above 200 and feel like I’m dying after 3 days of not taking it. Please be careful.

Thanks so much for your valuable input! We really appreciate you sharing your experience. Have you tried tapering off it? From what I've been told you should never just stop taking it but only taper off over a long period of time.

@@FromADistanceJewelry yes, my doctor has me on the lowest dose and we’ve been trying the tapering method for over 18 months. My heart rate stays around 68 but after the 72 hours it rebounds. He told me I’ll probably have to be on it for the rest of my life. It’s the only medication I take now. I’ve fixed my other issues through diet and lifestyle and some supplements.

@@jenniferpetty5238I've just been prescribed them for anxiety but I wanted benzos not medicine for heart issues. I don't have anything wrong with my heart , just have severe anxiety. Why is it hard to come off? Does it actually feel good? I miss codeine bc that actually worked for anxiety

Well, social anxiety can't be cured completely?

I can't say weather or whether or not I could be cured completely but you certainly can get to a point where you can function much more optimally compared to your original baseline. That's all people really need to do. Once someone does something enough I do believe that it is possible that they can be cured completely. It's just a matter of getting used to things most of the time.

Woah that's nuts I literally just got prescribed Propanolol last week crazy coincidence! I had to do a double take after seeing that title outta nowhere lmao. I've been paired up with pregablin for relief of the actual anxiety itself too and I'm having pretty good results so far. Its a really subtle change for me but that's quite nice because I'm totally there mentally like you said and I totally agree with how it helps you to live in the moment that's exactly how I'd describe it too. for me it just deletes the anxiety and its symptoms like fast heart rate which I'd often get before, even in non stressful situations or certain social interactions etc.

Hey man! Another great video.i have a question though, does Propranolol have any long term side effects? I’m assuming not but just wanted to ask and keep the amazing work up man! Your gonna blow up some day and I wanna be there to see it!

Thank you so much for your kind words as always brother! As far as the side effects go, of course they're definitely are because any medication will have side effects (both short-term and long-term) but in my non-doctor research those side effects are few and far between and for so many people this medication is in fact extremely safe both short-term and long-term.

Thank you so much for telling us your experience! For some reason, I get brain zaps and I don't take any medication lol. I guess with this medication it won't worsen my condition 😆 something I wanted to ask was do you take this often? I can't imagine someone getting zapped if they only took it once in a while. Please let us know! Thank you!
