That is literally so incredible I can barely even describe it. Not only is the design of the box perfect, but if a single thing had gone wrong the whole day would've been ruined. The fact that everything went accordingly to your *very* intricate plan is amazing. Nice job!!👏👏

I remembered the my husband proposed to me it was Saturday I wake up and didn't see him then I found a map that tells me to go to central park(which is the place we meet) and I found another map a tree tell me to go to a restaurant in Manhattan(which is the place we had our first date) I go there and the chef that served us our meals at that time gave me another map that tells me to go to the airport, so I go to the airport and suddenly a man in black tell me "follow my instructions it's a surprise by jack", he gave a ticket but told me not to look at the destination. I got on the plane, after 7 hours on the plane I realised it was PARIS, when I arrived I saw Jack he take on a date and he proposed to me right in front of the eifle tower I said yes then my family came out from a bush I cried so much my mom tell to stop being a Crybaby because I am someone wife now. I am so lucky to have that kind of proposal

I get what you mean, like even if you only knew your flight number they'd tell you at the gate where you're going or at least the pilot would be like "Welcome aboard ______ airlines flight number _______ to Paris." once you're already on the plane.

Just out of curious is there a back up plan if she failed or took too long to solve the puzzle...

She is a fortunate woman. Beautiful work on the box and it is also remarkable how you enhanced its value by the story behind it. I always push for people to instill meaning in the things they create.

James Bunt all sudoku puzzles go by columns, rows, and grids. Each 3rd area goes 1-9 with no repeats. That's the rule of sudoku

Maybe you're just supposed to solve it by rows and columns, instead of both rows and columns and 3x3 squares. It wouldn't be actual sudoku, but you'd be able to solve it.

I'd never get married if someone proposed to me with this because I would 1: not realize it was a puzzle box and think it was decorative or 2: realize it was a puzzle box, not be able to get it open, and get frustrated.

BrianMDPhD A lot of time and care goes into a box that intricate.. I wouldn't even be able to five a price estimate. it's perfect.. Not even any wood filler, the top lines up perfectly with the bottom, zero gap. it's not hard to do.. Just requires a rediculous amount of time, effort, accuracy and precision.

This is so beautiful and thoughtful. What a sentimental and poignant memory that box will hold!

+1totheright It would be rather expensive if I'd have to hand-craft these boxes for people to buy. If you're willing to pay the right amount I wouldn't mind to make you one. Since I'm getting lots of these requests I am considering designing a version as a kit that people can put together by themselves, or have them 3D printed. I'm not sure what people would be willing to pay for such things but it could be worth the effort.

Now she has to go into several other rooms with extensive puzzles to open other boxes, uncover a secret of a long lost victorian cult and connect a few batteries to some lasers.

This is so sweet, I actually think that it's the most beautiful way to propose the one you love. I wish you so much happiness

You're not the first one to notice. I was able to solve the sudoku when I verified it for myself. Since it was my first time I made a sudoku I didn't realize I did something wrong. But my wife noticed this as well and I had to help her out to get the last coordinates right. If you really want to visit these spots as well, let me know where you're stuck and I'll give the remaining coordinates. By the way, be sure to book your dinner at De Zwaluw weeks in advance, as they are always fully booked. It's the best restaurant on the island, as far as I know.
