@@vickiwhaley7854 You absolutely should be doing carnivore or at least ketovore. That means Whole food one ingredient fatty meat heavy, whole eggs, maybe some fiberous green vegetables thrown in for variety. Salt to taste but I would even experiment with as little salt as possible. (I personally dont use any) That is it. Nothing else. Unless you wanna be on dialysis this is your best shot. Protein isnt going to hurt your kidneys. Excessively high blood glucose will.

I need your new book, “Kicking Ass at 80”, since I’m 77. I don’t believe I’ll be seeing 50 again! I’ve been on this carnivore diet for 3 weeks, and my family keeps telling me I’m killing my self! I’m in for it, because of gout! No more attacks! I love getting back to salt!

Dr Berry might have just turned my life around, I've been feeling sluggish, weak and suffering from dandruff and joint inflammation for some years already, and just by going half carnivore, most of these issues are gone, I can finally start living life with vigor.

After a month on carnivore, everything that bothered me is feeling better! Arthritis is improving to the extent, that I can put shampoo on my head, again, and apply deodorant by myself! Heavy lifting constituted of a gallon of milk, or reaching the salt and pepper shakers. I needed assistance to pull the napkins loose! Gout attacks are gone, my knees are better, and I’m back in my yard doing maintenance, again! I’m on a 24 hour fast, after working in the yard, and still not hungry. I’m getting my life back, but I can’t convince my wife to join me on this diet, because of all the false information, given by the medical community. She asked her doctor if this diet was dangerous, and her doctor asked if I was under a doctor’s care? I told her if I was there, I would have told her, “ hell yes, why do you think I’m in this condition?” Doing the same thing over and over, and it gets worse, is not a solution! I wasn’t far from needing insulin, and eye damage, and I just couldn’t keep it up, anymore! I looked and found your channel, listened to you, and the opposing viewpoint. Your explanation of so much detail, convinced me to buy your book, and Ebook, so i listen to one and have the other for family, if they choose! Thank you! I also am a $5 member, for the year.

My now 28 year old severly mentally and physically handicapped son who is severely epileptic was on the ketogenic diet as the 2 one in our country in 1998 at age 3. It immediately stopped all of his seizures. He did this diet untill 11 years old when it finally totally had stopped working. But we never regretted doing this ketogenic diet for so many years. His brain had the best food possible to developpe as much as he could. He was breastfed till 16 months of age mostly till he had ear surgery and didnt want to be breastfed anymore. So if anybody has a child that is autistic epileptic or otherwise disabled please read up on the ketogenic diet. We watched the movie first do no harm in the nineties which was so clear to us as what we needed to do for our son. He still lives at home and needs 24/7 care cant do anything for himself but his brain is able to talk to us through a eye tracking computer Tobii. So there is hope for everyone! Just give it a shot!

I was in ICU a couple months ago (concussion from a fall) and I told them to not put one bit of carb or sugar on any of my meal they serve to me. I did have to be stern. They complied and I had my friend bring me a pound of cooked brisket to eat.

3 weeks without a loss is not a stall!!! Your body is prioritizing healing! That concept helped me soooo much! I'm 66, been keto for over 5 years, lost 105 pounds and am keeping it off! It drives me nuts how quickly people call a pause a plateau!

I have been building into the Keto diet plan over last 6 weeks, eliminating carbs and figuring out which veggies were lowest in carb count. Have not had refined sugars in well over a year, and have eliminated Breads and processed grains about 6 weeks ago. A1C three months ago was at 8.4. My current A1C taken a few days ago is now 6.1. Looking forward to breaking the 5.5 mark this next go around and getting my doctor to work with me in eliminating the Metformin. Really happy I found Dr Berry on KZread and have learned so much about SO MUCH here. Thank You Dr. Berry Sir!

Been doing different diet plans each month since january but 2 months ago I tried carnivore had been planing on changing meal plans each month to continue to try every diet known to man (except vegan, I cant do vegan sorry I know it wouldnt be sustainable) but the moment I switched to carnivore I felt a completely different change in my body from just doing keto (clean or dirty).. Such a huge increase in energy and no calorie counting, just eat till ur satisfied, and how it makes the meat taste bad when you've hit your limit, its amazing. 2 Months on Carnivore and lost 60 lbs it puts me at 310lbs lost since January 20th 2023. Carnivore is definetly a game changer for me my depression has been lifted, I'm not really happy or anything since my conditions but I dont feel like I want to just give up its changed my mood completly, No longer diabetic (5.4 A1C from 8). I tried one month of chicken (buffalo wings specificaly) and one month with both, the month with the ribeyes and the buffalo wings definetly had better results, but this month I've been doing pure ribeyes cooked in butter and alredy lost 20 lbs the difference is extreamly different in the first week of doing pure ribeyes Ive lost more weight then I lost the entire month of buffalo wings.. its crazy. Anyways thanks for the great information heres the list of my weights since i could track it on a scale back in march. I have faith that anyone who asked for the fasting can do it. I have done it for a spiritual purpose. For three days without water and food. I didn't drink water, it's food until the sun sets on my fourth I guess that makes it my fourth because I just wanna make sure I have to complete it. Don’t be discussing don't let anyone lie to you. This is the most effective way to proceed. Thanks to Dr. Barry. I believe I have been on a carnivorous diet for three months. I may not lose weight, but I feel healthier.

I’m 2 weeks into carnivore and I’m 13lbs down so far! But I feel like I’ve lost more inches than a normal 13lbs of water weight. So I’m feeling great! Also I had a weird lump on my leg that I was worried about and it’s been on my leg for like 2 months. Well today I checked it again and it’s almost completely gone. Have no clue what it is, but it’s almost non existent still in only two weeks. I’m still going to keep an eye on it, but I thought that was CRAZy!

You have an excellent channel which i am sure is helping many thousands of people achieve better health and enjoy healing through preventative steps rather than interventions after the fact. 125 days on carnivore. Aside from the benefits, Interestingly, I’ve found any time I’ve occasionally dipped into adding a vegetable even avocados that were my fav - I find their taste VERY disappointing and almost bland. Just want meat & salt. Think I’m leaning more towards something similar to LION diet. But I’m a definite convert to PHD! Thank you, body & mind healing (prev. Narc relationship 19 years, constant flight fight mode and left with CPTSD) Starting to remember how it feels to be happy again. And I know the fat loss will happen once the healing is completed. Hospital had a alternative menu . I always ordered a meat and low carb veg and asked for double portions since I wasn’t getting all the other stuff . If you are diabetic they will randomly add carby things to your tray to bring up your carbs because they want you to have the carbs since most diabetics are getting insulin and to avoid dropping BS . I am not diabetic they accidentally had me on that diet for a day and my tray came with chocolate milk chocolate pudding And some other kind of dessert because my meal was so low in carbs of course I didn’t eat those. I believe I def insulin resistant hyper insulin but my A1C is 5.0 and fasting BS are 80ish . Even after eating lots of carbs I’m ok but pack on pounds easy even without over eating . Low carb to keto is by best way

Hi Dr Ken berry. I have switched to carnivore diet almost 2 years ago and I feel fantastic, thanks to you and others, 36yo stout male. My question is what do you think about fulvic & humic minerals? Biofulvic is the brand. Thank you once again

Sorry I'm having trouble in the group, keeping up with the lives. I'm trying to get a hold of the nutrition list, can someone please help me find out how to download it for the September carnivore challenge coming up?

Thank you Dr Berry and staff. I am down to 1 meal a day. If I'm getting to 12 to 16 hours for a fast and am drinking coffee with cream or half and half, is that breaking the fast? I'm trying to include autophagy in the process of the diet.

My BMI is finally in the "normal" range. I would like to loose a few more pounds. About 15 pounds down since carnivore June 1st. Weight loss at a stall. Is my body happy at this weight?

Hi....Michelle from Northern Maine here...have a comment instead of a question.I have been struggling with my blood sugar for several yrs....the many drs over the years all pushed for me to be on meds...i tried about 5 or 6 and they just never truly worked or made me feel like shit....i kept pushing back saying i could do it naturally....unfortunately i was following "theyre" natural diabetic diet...oatmeal,apples,whole wheat bread....and it was going HIGHER.So i started tracking my sugar after EVERYTHING i ate, meds i took(thyroid)or exercise i did. What an eye opener. Then almost 2 yrs ago i was up in the middle of the night at my wits end with excruciating pain due to CRPS in my feet...i was praying to god for SOMETHING ....i was flipping through my ipad and came across you...Dr.Berry on a pod cast with Mikayla...lies my dr told me.I could NOT FREAKIN BELIEVE MY EARS!!! FINALLY....somebody with the same thoughts as mine.Anyway....i started fasting and keto ...it was jan,i went from 191lbs in jan.down to 170 in march.Fasting Bs was high 200's.Then i fell off the wagon due to dealing with the CRPS pain by eating crunchy foods.Started back up this july keto....then strictly carnivore and fasting aug 1...my fasting blood sugar this morning was ....143!!!!!!!

Started carnivore in August 01, since then in some of the weekends have been eating some sweets and cakes from anniversaries, and one or two times where i drinked alcohol. But closing a full week now entering to another with only meat, fat, salt and water, i perceived since this weekend and maybe days before i've been on significant aches on my intestine, which i perceived to be constipation, and i would not get these before. What changed, specially, is that i cut the veggies, nuts, and specially rice and black beans. Stomach really ok, no bloating, perceived mental clarity too and wanna to continue on the diet to see and experiment the benefits, really cool, the only thing that perceived physically bad now is the pain into the intestines. What could it be, should i just increase fat and water, for example? Thank you!!

Ok, y'all! I have a serious question about water consumption and carnivore. I'm four weeks into the diet and I notice that I feel dehydrated and don't really pee often or much at all. But if I want to up my water intake, I will have diarrhea and it seems like all the water I drank just comes out that way. Obvi UTI is a concern here. What's up with this? Will it right itself?

I'm getting to the point that I don't want to eat the meat nearly as much as I want to eat the fat. How long can I eat only fat without meat? I've been low carb for many years, then discovered keto then carnivore. I tried to go totally carnivore but bounced back to ketovore cause I really like eating English peas. My OMAD is usually a boneless pork chop with a side of peas. Is it okay to eat so much pork? Some meals are nothing but bacon (for the fat content)

Hay Berry, I just watched your vid on milk products and I don't drink milk, however, I do drink Buttermilk with salt and pepper. You did cover about all types of Dairy but you didn't mention anything about buttermilk, I always thought it was good for your stomach because of all the fat and cultures. I may be mistaken which is the reason for the question. Does buttermilk fall more in the category milk or yogurt? Thanks
