I recently read that there will be a robot on the streets with facial recognition abilities and if you cross the street you will be fined. Fuck surveillance. What if there is no traffic and I cross the street? These kinds of things are why Dubai will lose in the end because my plan when I hear those things is do invest minimally or not at all.

@@IwillEndureToTheEnd starting from AED 500 minimum and goes up to 20,000 AED the fines, it became a norm, so tax free my foot and on top of that you have no rights, no permanent residency, no rights to appeal or fight, you just pay or get the fuck out, so its best just to visit :-)

I was in Dubai before 4 days for layover for 10 hrs we tried to get a visa to visit my cousin in Dubai but we couldn’t get the visa but I saw the Burj Khalifa when I was boarding on my flight I could barely see it but it was an amazing country wish I could visit it someday. ( crazy coincidence my dad was just talking about how expensive my cousin’s school and my sister’s college in Dubai)

Dubai is very expensive and not worth it. The worst thing you can do is Rent-A-Car in Dubai. You will receive thousands and thousands of dollars in fines whether you like it or not.

As an indian who is currently in Dubai, it is expensive.indians dont earn as much as foreigners and even 10 aed is a lot. Its not worth it for me as tickets for miracle garden , global vilage etc are very expensive but the places are not good . We went to abu dhabi too and we went to ferrari world and sea world which is the only half worthy thing

If u go to Deira in Dubai it’s cheaper compared to the Dubai mall and tourist areas, also the restaurant u ate at I went on vacation there and ate there 🥲

These are pretty standard rates for roadside ‘cafeterias’. As an immigrant, it is possible to spend decades here without having to opt for the expensive stuff.
