Being a metal drummer...one of the things I admired about Prongs drummer was his Hihat work. Most metal drummers don't do all the feathering on the hihat he did. Prong is badass, underrated, and will always have a place in my metal favorites.

What you mention is exactly why I loved this song when it came out. The very next day, I went and bought the cassette! The entire album is great and to this day, (in my opinion) is their greatest.

You betcha bro ..Beg to Differ was the first song I heard by you guys. When I heard it I was like yeah this is the kinda metal I wanna play. At the time it was very unique and experimental. I was listening to Sacred Reich, Dead Horse, & Testament at the time. You guys are one of the bands that got me playing double bass. Still going strong.

@@truebrodownhelmet is the best example that also gets credit for what they lifted from prong. I like both but prong is superior in every way.

This album was a game changer back then, nothing else sounded like it.

This brings back some many memories. Damn those were some of best times. The world was such a different place back then. A hell of a better place compared to now. The 1980's best decade ever.

Vastly underrated band. Tommy still kicks major ass.

Something changed when Mike Kirkland left.

I was at this video shoot...it was in New Haven, Connecticut...Toad’s Place..in the heart of Yale University.

Been listening to this for 30 years now. It's a masterpiece of metal 🤘. It's also really difficult to explain to kids these days what this scene was like in NYC in 90s. Going to see Prong live was more like a dance party than anything that passes for a "mosh pit" these days.

I still remember as a teenager pulling into McDonald's drive thru late at night with Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck blasting out of my stereo and all the employees were head banging and moshing inside.

incredible grooves.....tight.....listened to this album for months in a row....started listening to them and pantera in early 90's, hard to find in KY....one of my favorite bands ever.....vastly underrated

Ironically, saw them live in Kentucky (Phoenix Hill tavern, Louisville). Therefore, easy to find in the UK..

Same here man!! Prong, Pantera, Slayer, Crowbar, Skrew, White Zombie, Sepultura, Nailbomb, Corrosion of Conformity, Down, Fear Factory, Life of Agony, Biohazard, Fudge Tunnel, Ministry, Pist On, Type O Negative, Mundane, etc!! 90s metal is untouchable!!

Me too man. I think it was circa 89 or so. I was in the Marines and just getting into bands like Testament and Dark Angel. Think I picked this up with Practice What You Preach and Darkness Descends and have NEVER looked back since!!

Wow, what a blast from the past! My teenage garageband used to cover this, and it's still such an awesome song. Prong changed the way I looked at (and played) metal. Long live Prong!!

First heard this in 1992, still love Prong, one of the great metal bands, and still going strong.

I remember watching this on Raw Power (TV program in 1990 and 1991 and 1992 and 1993) back in 1990 when I was 12.

Awesome song and band. First to break through the hair band dominance of late 80's and early 99's.

best live show ever seen, the place went wild.

The most underrated Thrash hardcore metal industrial band ever! The best crossover bands like S.Tendencies,Prong,Faith No More, Meathook Seed,Life of Agony, Butthole Surfers,Fear Factory,sadly never get the wide recognition! But all of them a treasure for the underground scene! A time capsule of an age ,where the music was just pure music from heart and soul!

This album is amazing! I bought it as a kid, mainly because it was a low price CD and I knew Prong "isn't that bad". I didn't like it much first BUT like with most great albums, it was made to stay and left an impact that is still present to this day. If you listen to it now, it's incredible how fresh the album sounds. Definitely way ahead of its time.

The producer of this album is sheer genius. How did he get such a great guitar sound out of Marshall 8100 will remain the mystery of my life.

Fuck ! This song is amazing... since i heard it in the beginning if the 90s, i consider it and the entire album Beg To Differ as a landmark of Metal. The best Prong album IMO.

Headbangers ball on MTV got me to buy this cd back in the day.

PRONG...industrial thrash metal...great album.

2:20 and next minute -> quintessence of all metal. If I was a dictator, everybody would be obliged to begin and end any concert, jam, sound check or whathaveya with this minute.

Still as fresh as the day it was released. I remember hearing this for the first time and being blown away. The guy who introduced me to this didn't even like metal but he took a chance and bought this album. Never looked back, I've been a fan ever since.

There's a live show from 1990 on here where when the song kicks in he hits the snare then does a crash hit. It made the song sound even cooler.
