I use a belt with plates for pronation curls the most. Also, hammer curls with pronation, and resistance bands at low point with door anchor. I try to improvise as much as possible since I unfortunately don't have a cable machine

Back then in some countries the Taras Ivakin variation was quite popular. I guess @Milos P you mean the last two fingers and then form a tight fist... I always found that with enough weights to make it work this variation was very(VERY..) hard on my wrist and ligaments..others complained also... So i somehow agree with Ray”there’s only one Taras” Especially new guys should stick to coach variations , he knows what he is doing, trust me. Have a good day

What about bands? I'm very new to armwrestling, and when I don't have access to gym I tie some bands, attach strap to it, and train pronation + supination + radial deviation on a table or knee. I guess it's better than doing nothing but hard to keep track of progress. It's also not stable and I often have wrist giving up very suddenly and unexpectedly especially in radial deviation or high pronation.

Hello sir, sorry for this question, I just want to know your expert opinion about this. So my question is this - I have a small hand and short arm, can I still be good in top roll (posting)? Or am I only limited in using hook? They say you can only use hook if you have short arm. Thanks, btw can you do a video about this.

Thanks for the vid Ray! I enjoy all your training vids! What about a specific vid on the top 5 exercises that if u were stranded in a gym and could only do 5 exercises for one year to make the best arm wrestling gains, what would they be (using whatever handles or equipment you need, u have everything at your disposal).... what would be the 5 u would suggest? And there can be arm wrestling specific stuff and also if there is "normal" bodybuilding exercises for ur shoulders, lats etc, that counts too. Keep up the good work! So whatever would build max *base* toproll ability to a newer arm wrestler with 5 exercises (ie hands, pronator, back pressure etc) over the course of one year.. Anyway, just a thought. Thanks bro! 💪💪💪

@@iimarksmaniii2170 u mean the inside of your arm side of ur elbow where that chunk of bone sticks out before the actual end of your elbow and elbow right? If that's what u mean, i have some pain there after working it hard. It's ur pronator tendon. If u mean that area where that bone is, that's right where pronator attaches to the bone. Ray will correct me if I'm wrong but i believe that's what ur getting at. U can certainly make it stronger. I work it a few days a week using the exercise in this vid. Ray knows more than me but this is a common question. A strong and healthy pronator means happy pronation 😁
