There is hope. I am still alive. I had pancreatic cancer. -.5% chance of living a year or 2. Quite honestly I had 4 to 6 months. It’s been 30+ years and I’m still here. My beautiful wife of 46 years got it, gone now.

This song tonight.. Put me back when i was young. And free. 10 years clean from pain pills.. And thanking God every day..for giving my life back.. So thank you for your chill songs.. They give me hope there is love hope and kindness still left in this crazy world... From a hopless romantic... :-)

congrats on 10 years, probably one of if not the hardest vise to kick, i lost 2 people in my life due to them, the mother of my daughter passed not from overdose but as a result of what they did to her body over time, and a close friends mom from an overdose. just remember that love is a frequency and it is received and re projected subconsciously and the more we put it out there the more it will travel around the world and the less crazy things will be. god speed my friend.

I had a near-death experience, and my best friend was in the car driving me to the hospital, and asked what song I wanted to hear. I chose "Promise". It is a truly amazing song.

Vocally incredible. She's not quite doing the crazy things Ben does on guitar that he makes look easy.

One of the saddest songs I’ve ever heard... At least the way I interpret it. I see a lost person, taken by death too soon and this song is their love from beyond the grave, trying to save the one they cherish from the pain of loss. That’s just fantastic writing and the delivery is top class.
