Nice cover. My best friend died by suicide almost 3 years ago now and this song reminds me of us. Forever 22. I love you forever josie. I feel her all the time and miss her every second of the day. “She is dancing away from you now, she was just a wish, she was just a wish and her memory is that is left for you now” and I’m left without her a gypsy and she’s a gypsy too without me. The greatest friend of my life. Ugh. I just miss her.

wow. that deep, mellow voice took me by surprise and almost knocked me down. amazing. also the banjo and the guitar interact beautifully.

The banjo is fit so perfectly in this! Love how he gets that catchy piano lead in there while keeping the rolls going. Also amazing vocal.

2 years later, hundreds of listens later on my commute playlist, and still not one iota tired of this cover. Just so beautifully sensual with perfect measurement. Its a crime ths video isn't showed with millions of views like others. Almost everyone who has heard this song while I've been playing it in earshot within the first 15 seconds of the vocals has simply said.... 'wow'.

I don't think there's a word exist to describe the feeling after listening your voice, it's different, like something very calm and practical but still magical at the same time, let you escape from the atmosphere, to evoporate in midst and fog, you can feel your legs on the ground but it still feels like you're flying, it's very heartwarming but makes you sad for no reason, it's different it's hard to explain!

I found this via the cover of "Hey Ma" where Sierra did justice to Justin Vernon (euphemism for perfected what he was trying to do), and I was blown away. Since then I've just been absorbing all their songs. Sierra reminds me of Eddie Vedder (bear with me). I'm about his age, and there were lots of good vocalists hitting (there always are), but he had a sense of authenticity in every micro-syllable that made we want to listen, and even watch, in minute detail. Now I'm going through the same thing again. I've been sharing this with everyone I know.

Wow, I am not impressed by most of the music now but this girl is like the Carol King of today. She has something special. I am 68 and I love music. She is good. Looking for a CD now.....
