    At 35:15 is the preference for Contaminator over Kodama because you want the higher power to pressure them more? I was thinking if you do Kodama first you get some lands from the attack and grow Adaptive twice. Also, the opponent had an orange name, they were a WotC employee!

  • @LegenVD

    @LegenVD

    Жыл бұрын

    Indeed, that games was probably going to be decided before the extra lands mattered and with Contaminator hitting them we also get to grow Adaptive if it comes down to it.

  • @eatachodeutube

    @eatachodeutube

    Blue/Black from mostly new cards can work. Like a proliferate control deck. Maybe splash some Green but the land base might be inconsistent.

  • @victoriachusin2944

    @victoriachusin2944

    Жыл бұрын

    well it is possible, but will it be good? if you wanna win games you have to choose the best cards from all the sets available. sometimes that means choosing cards that work together, but sometimes to make your favorite cards work you have to play other less interesting ones. like your black deck isn't gonna do very well if you don't play any removal spells. see how, while lvd makes lots of decks with lots of different cores, but nearly every black deck plays cut down

  • @elohimttv5806

    @@victoriachusin2944 ofc but as a biginner, my Ressources are limited. So best is to focus on 1 set I think. So it's easy to build a deck with only 1 set for the start? Not sure😅

  • @Big_Dai

    @Big_Dai

    Жыл бұрын

    @@elohimttv5806 Most likely not. But as a new player, you NEED to stick to mono colored decks.. as spending wildcards on lands is rather painful. Anything you make will be playable, but "good decks" often use the synergies from all the rares and mythics available.

    LVD had a nearly all ONE deck a while ago, see kzread.info/dash/bejne/l6d_2NGQf8K0ebQ.html It's pretty heavy on rares and not the most competitive, though. SaffronOlive over on MTGGoldfish always does a ton of budget friendly decks with every new set, so look for that. I know he did some that were purely ONE this time, as well.
