If this video doesn’t showcase your many talents and skill nothing does great work Jesse what a life you have in front of you
Love the straight video, with little talking. The work is the work. I love how you were able to save the partial entrance landing and just repair it.
Thanks Jesse, you and Andrew really know your stuff and are always great to watch! Please bring it on, you have many fans!
Watching this really makes me want winter to be over.
Jesse has such great posture sitting in the excavator !
Thanks Jesse, like the new design septic tank, easy as installation compared to the old style concrete tanks which we had at our home in Westport NZ, when i was a kid. I resided in the Philippines for several years over the last two decades and they still use the old concrete tanks after digging out the hole by hand shovel. Hard work. Bob, New Zealand.
Hi Jesse I’m a Brit who’s relocated to Bulgaria and here they are about 30 years behind us in there building techniques, here they will spend a lot of money on a car then there homes . It’s cheaper to buy a house than a second hand car. Crazy
Another great video. Great teaching on so many fronts. Most of my questions were answered in the comments. Glad to see use of filter fabric and 3/4 crushed ledge around the arms of the sewage distributors is no longer needed and a more efficient method is available. Also happy to see your homemade ripping claw saving the day. Kind regards. Craig
Thanks, Jesse. This is a really good format for me. All action and little talk.Somehow it's very relaxing for this old guy to just watch you work. Blessings.

Yea, some have the camera in their faces more than the subject they are recording
nice to see how you solve problems and make things easier for yourself. also show a video of tractors
Looks good mate thanks for the hard work putting it all together 👍
Versitility comes to mind. Well done!
Excellent work, regardless of time of year it was filmed. Looking forward to viewing more video as your time permits to edit and post. Thank you!
Wow! What a great vid. Well done! Loved the music ending.
excellent vid - especially liked the King Pin replacement - Good Stuff!
Set up the camera with a view and let it run. We are like the guys who wander over and watch you work. Don't want to disturb the workmen but are fascinated like every man with 'Men at Work'. Andy does voice over or a quick comment and we are certainly happy. I'm happy with your vlogs also. That washer press device was brilliant.
That was great!! I would love to see more like that.
Love the music you put with the videos
Loved the neat work and the music
Thanks Jesse great work !

Cool Video! Thumbs up!
Awesome👍
Nice video.
I like the way you saved the concrete landing. Contractors where I live would have said it needs to be busted up and repoured.

the only reason it worked well and will last is because of the technology they have with all these materials. the stuff we used is really good, regular mortar would not be up for the task. I used a product called cement-all...and I have used it before for parging and it is stronger than the concrete you put it on, sticks to it well, and drys in an hour or less
Well put together vid man. You could've easily split these up into segments. I kinda dig the no talking, you can let Andrew do all that on his vids lol. Keep it up!
Leave the writing script up longer for us older folks love your work and your videos say hello to Andrew
You can’t pump out enough videos for me.I’m always looking for a new one
And Thank you !!!!
Lo e the vids. An the kingpin for sure!!!
Damn Jesse , looks like those lines are 5 ft down in the grown ..sure would hate to be the next plumber that comes along ?? Back in the old days when we grew up we had a Two Holder out back, with a Sears & Roebuck Catalog in it . Every time we went to town we'ed get a new Book.. Going fishing, Just go to the out house and get some bait ..Nice job, but to many Damn big rocks ..
Here in the UK we have to bed and cover the pipping in pea shingle, then we can refill the trench with the top soil. Doing this prevents unseen hidden rocks in the backfill touching the pipe and possible ground movement breakages.
@jmuller86
4 жыл бұрын
we just sort through the dirt and put in soil that has very little rocks, if any..the first few inches by hand, and then backfill with the machine
Dummy me I watched it already sorry about that. You did a nice job. Every state must be different with the leach field. Thanks
You did great work they should hire you to clean the place up the 1st job
Yes! Minimal Talking is better. And FastMotion for this things is the best! :) #thumbup
Great video.
Nice vid Jesse! Thumbs up.. last 6 minutes or so the music is awesome too. Who is that? Nice atmosphere
Great work Jesse , if I lived in your area I would definitely ask you to do jobs for me , unfortunately I live in England . Next time you record repairs to your truck please keep the speed down a bit , thank you .
Like the music, unusually
Good to see another local guy making great videos! Why don’t you use gravel below the baffles in the trenches? When I do these they get 6” of 1” gravel. Am I wasting time and money doing this? I use pipes plus as well! Keep on the grind Jesse! Great videos

The instruction say you can use native dirt if it is rock free, So I just sprinkle the dirt on, rake the rocks out. a few inches at a time until it has a nice protective bed.
Nice video. Thanks for your work. - A short explanation of the task would be nice. But it can also be in the picture as text.
Another coolvidio

Oh! Finally some video from you! You hot that much work?
Love you finally posted a new video:-) Still waiting on the Roof Video's from Andrew....How is the family vacation home coming along??
A+
Well done, Jesse. Really enjoyed the variety. Agree about the chit-chat and do like the brief explanations. What was the type of cement you used on that front porch/walkway repair? It really came out nice. You worked like a speeding tornado on that kingpin repair!
@jmuller86

its a product called cement-all. you can find it right at home depot, it works really well, regular mortar would not have worked well . its a little expensive but I have always found it is still worth its weight in gold, have used it for parging and it sticks well. thanks
1st. Looking at green trees it looks like old video. Thank you.
Jesse, is it a New York state code to use the black risers for a drain field. Here in Michigan most drain fields are made with 4" pvc pipe with holes in both sides. Love the video's, keep up the good work.
@jmuller86
4 жыл бұрын
they are not required, rather desired, they can reduce the area of the drainfield substantially, and take the place of gravel
Cool, different Leach bed looks like it spiders off, is that your brother you work with? Oh thanks for the nice weather video this storm were get around nine is what your getting know, lots of plowing be safe.
@jmuller86

that is a good friend of mine who works for me, my brother is in the concrete videos. I think we are getting 3-5 here tonight. got about 2 now
👍
Who specified the 1/4" per foot fall. We use 1/8" per foot and have few problems. Also we are required to install cleanouts at all direction changes plus one every 50' on straight runs. I like what you said about using 20' belled end pipe made of schedule 40 PVC. The bell should always be facing upstream of water flow. Some ignore this and sewage can get hung up at the joint.
Could you heat the pipe to make the bend? I have seen it done with small pipes but do not know if it works with a larger pipe.
The new porch looks great, but isn't what happened before, will it do it again with a skim coat of concrete. Just asking, I use to pour basement walls, floors, driveways, sidewalks ,porches and steps.
@jmuller86

this material I used was called cement-all, and It is stronger than the concrete itself and bonds extremely good. I use it to parge and its the only way to go, its nothing like mortar, its a very fine grain material that has some serious adhering chemicals
Jesse if you can SLOW the time-lapse down a little. PLEASE !! Remarkable job on the entryway steps. Does the new concrete adhere to the old ? I was also wondering what your thoughts was on the expandable foam for the fence install. I will be installing some vinyl gates in a few weeks and I seen this product at the store.
How you did a good job on your septic system. Why did't you put any cleanout tees in the line to tank. great soil what did perk
Like these videos less talk more work
Is a 1/4 in. drop per foot of run standard slope for drain/sewer lines ? I would think that would be minimum slope but I don't know. Good video.
@TheKajunkat
4 жыл бұрын
That is pretty standard. You don't want too much of a slope or the water will run away too fast and not carry the solids with it. You end up with clogs easier with too much slope. If you have to make up for a large drop in elevation from the building to the tank you have to put in vertical drops to get you down where you need to go. The horizontal portions have to have the gradual slope.

@@TheKajunkat Thanks for the answer!
Do you need county inspections when adding to existing sewer systems?
Did I just watch you installing fence posts with expanding foam?

yes this a product specifically designed for posts www.lowes.com/pd/Sika-Polyurethane-Fence-Post-Mix-Actual-Net-Contents-33-fl-oz/999977070?cm_mmc=shp-
How come you did'nt use a sweep 45 or did you
What make and model laser are you using? Any input on if you had to buy another what you would consider?
Sounded like incubus playing on the radio.
FF is good but I would have liked more detail on some of the fence and kingpin. Good job.
It would have been real nice for you to explain what was going on with the king pin, so I could learn. I would have liked it much better.
Did I see one of Andrew's future jet skis in the weeds?
Do you ever grease that thing? Loudest bucket o bolts I've ever heard.

I tried out that foam stuff on that project, I wasnt totally impressed though, so we also used concrete, concrete first and then the foam on top
Great work. Maybe slo the time lapse a bit.

@pete smyth The question is; why do people in "the great" country have to live like rats if they have financial problems. Poverty and inequality is rampant and beyond imagination. Btw, i have seen much much worse during my yrs living in OH/WV and could never imagine "houses" made of cardboard and tarp for even the least affluent in my country.
Is this fellow with you your regular trench / shovel man / helper? I'd really like to know how you and Andrew got together. You two work well together.

@@jmuller86 Thank you so much for the information... I have some concrete that needs that type of therapy.
Here in UK if your sewer pipe has to change direction, no matter how small you have to put in a manhole
Always enjoy videos. Not to be too inclusive, I have difficulties charging people "close" to me. Do you charge friends? By the hour or job? Lots of hours can add up doing favors...your thoughts? Thank you.
If that were my property I would want the tank and pipes to be protected with screening....Surprised thats not the code in NY.
@jmuller86
4 жыл бұрын
we just have to do what the manufacturer says, which in this case is backfill with flowable soil that has little to no sharp rocks, thats why I backfill the first few inches by hand until the pipes or tank are protected, and then backfill the rest of the way
