Perfectly cooked tri-tip. I can't stand it when people over cook it and want it well done. No disrespect to the Memphis Grill, but I just use a Weber Grill with charcoal and Oak Wood chunks and it comes out perfect. My UDS Smoker is also a great way to smoke it, but no need to use such a big smoker on one tri-tip.

Sorrybut thats not a tri tip, those are sirloin caps or picanha in brasil. Tri tip is the bottom.part of the sirloin opposite side as these.

LK, that is the best flavor range. If you overcook you are headed for the beef jerky range, yuk in this case.

Similar to a Traeger but with searing capability and I am sure a lot more expensive. I like my tri-tips over red oak on my Santa Maria Grill.

This guy is getting out of touch....if you were to go to Santa Maria, most traditional establishments don’t serve tri-tip. It is still top sirloin or rib eye.
