Its a gene I only recently picked up several different pieces for alot left to do for sure!

These videos are my favorite, just looking at nice and or different examples of combos with one gene in common. Acid is also one of my favorite genes.

Great video Brandon! I love the direction your heading with the Acid/Confusion gene. Excited to see your vision come to light. Man that Hypo Rainbow stuff is nice!!! I recently watch a Bomb Projects IG live with Devon of Prague Morphs. He has some killer Hypo Rainbow animals!

Yeah his looked nice but it really didn’t begin to show the color of these things. I’ll have to use them on the next project series video and do a side by side with a Candino, candy, banana, Ultramel, and monarch or something crazy.

Thanks I cant wait to use him for stuff. The hypo probably takes away from some of the contrast but either way I like the look he has!

Nice video Brandon. Big fan of confusion/acid and have my acid clown just about ready to breed. Have been debating on putting my DG male vs Lavender male to her. I chose the DG het Hypo and clown male and looking forward to that after seeing the Hypo Confusion in you video. 👍

I think the DG boy is a good option due to keeping the blacks although the lav acid stuff does look great and thats a step toward that honey comb thing Justin made but I think that pattern would be awesome keeping the blacks!

Honestly, I don't think projects like this are worth the time or money invested in them when there are some normalslike those from Outback Reptiles coming straight out of africa that rival many of these man made morphs in both color/pattern. I believe with many of these lower end morphs people just haphazardly get lucky and get one or two okay normals. It's like all the desert ghost hype...they are just nicer looking hypos, by no means amazing.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I do agree with some of the things you said, however, I do disagree with others. I would say Desert and Ghost definitely has a lot of hype behind it, and I find hypo to be a better looking animal. The stuff outback gets are often just unique, looking normals and that’s where a lot of these genetics started in the wild it is only through selective breeding that we get these man-made morphs because we’re breeding some thing that was originally in the wild into something else. It was originally in the wild. I also do disagree to an extent that some of these projects are not worth the time or money. Somethings such as the acid/confusion are fairly reasonably priced compared to what they once were a lot of mutations when they first came out were very expensive. It’s only after years or often decades that those prices get lower. There is a lot of opportunity for some of the newer mutations to mix with things that have not been done yet.
