@@NixonReptiles Dave is pretty much the only bp breeder to regularly feature this morph in his videos. His Ultraviolet project looks absolutely amazing.

Yeah first time I seen the look I liked it. I actually got this boy mostly because he’s hypo super hurricane rainbow so I needed/wanted super hurricane and hypo.

Yeah most loose that color as adults. There are darker projects that keep contrast but those are the exception. BEL complex stuff with banana looks the best as adults imo.

Beautiful. Yeah a lot of people make comparisons to other mutations. Banana and rainbow imo have the most similar starting point but far different endings.

@@NixonReptiles for sure! I love the point you made about colors as they age. Bananas age like milk. I love them and even hopefully have a few clutches on the way. But between how they age and the sex linking they are a pain to work with. I can’t wait to pick up a rainbow boy for my het girl.

Imo..there is banana lines and combos that can affordable easily be made as good looking animal without spoting and keeping the colors dissent.. but in terms of potential comparing, it is just silly 😅

There will be good and bad combos for every morph. If a base banana and a base rainbow were compared the base rainbow would be a better looking adult in terms of contrast and likeness to its hatchling counterpart. The banana lesser/butter leopard Fire clown shouldn’t spot up at all the mother is a beautiful blonde and cream snake but you do loose the typical banana oranges and purples when adding those genes in.

They are hard to find I been looking for one for months

Do you know if rumors are true about rainbows have issues hatching some die in egg or shortly after is what I hear but nothing like caramel or desert type issues

This is the issue far as I know I heard Austin mention he had issues with one clutch and I have seen you bring this up a few times in different conversations that’s how rumors etc get spread. Someone hears something from someone and some else heard it from someone else. Things happen with a variety of animals. I produced 3 eye less pieds this year. Why? Who knows not all pieds are producing eye less pieds. Dave produced this one and the other animal I have his stuff seems to do great and aside from I think one baby being dead in an egg (which could happen with anything I had a tiny runt sunset dead in an egg before)
