▓▒░ ABOUT PROJECT PRESET ░▒▓
Torley believes an instrument should be awesomely playable from the start, and uses PROJECT PRESET to highlight the craft of instrument + sound designers.
== Rules ==
1. Never skip a sound within the focused area. (Exceptions include template setups and other "specialty banks".)
2. Play sounds you have never heard before, so your first reactions are documented on camera. (Exception: practice/warmup to gain familiarity with a new tool.)
3. Only feature tools you have or will use in actual productions to set a positive example for the electronic music community. Thinking you can do something is trumped by actually doing it every time.

Between you and ME, based on these THREE, reviews of Addictive KEYS, I purchased for ME, my very own COP-Y, thanks to THEE, Mr. TorLEY. (And I love it). Thanks for a talent-filled, fun and humorous, unbiased run through of this great software.
Great demo, and even better playing! You're a fantastic player dude. Love it.
If he came to Detroit, I'd take him to Coney Island and talk about music. Nothing to be afraid of. Torley is da man!
Love the jiro dreams of sushi reference that was a great documentary very moving. Keep playing torley you inspire me to keep learning to play piano
I love these kind of videos ! You're doing it right. Thank you Torley :)
Very entertaining...always a joy to listen to your journeys.
Hi Torley! Just subscribed. Glad to see people doing what they love and sharing it with the world. :-)
You got me Torley. I had doubts about this, despite loving Addictive Drums, but these pianos sound pretty great and seem very customizable. And as always, love your improvisations, particularly the impressionistic ones. Makes me want to go play and that's always a good thing. :)
That's beautiful (7:12)
Man you are smooth on the keys!!!! I wish I could play like that!
What I was looking for 👍🏻 thanx
I have the same keyboard. I don't play piano, but I'm glad to know its possible to play the thing like a boss haha. Your video is very entertaining, thanks
These XLN comparison videos are great. I so jealous of your ability to play the piano like this and just improvise on the fly too! I can't quite decide between the modern upright and the studio grand though... technically I know a studio grand should be "better" (hardware wise), however I find it a bit too forward and also flashy at times, like it tries to impress. This one sound a little more intimate. I might go with this one. Who knows.
Hay Torley, great to see you, been a while ... nice video.
Eyes wide and smiling the whole time.
i love the song you played 6:15
Wonderful improvisation, Torley. It's almost like a combination of Ryo and Lee Ru-ma's styles. :3
Hi Torley. I'm just wondering how to put sustain to an imported midi? Like for example in FL Studio where I use Addictive Keys as a VSTi. I don't know how to sustain those midi files. Please help me here. Thank you.
0:01...Ok, he's stoned as fuck
Why do I love the tone of the upright better? Save for the weaker lows, those are better in the grand.
torley! it's been awhile
fucking amazing piano work, but...are you stoned bro? lmao love it
beautiful playing brother, how long you been playin?
Is there some additional reverb being processed here? I hear the echo in his voice at some parts. Also the piano sounds more airy when he plays it but idk if that's just the placebo effect lol
Cant seem to figure out which one to use for hip hop type music.. upright or grand... I cant imagine grand pianos were so available to that genre... the upright has that llittle bit boxy sound which is very nice.. the grand is cleaner and clearer.... big problems hey... could listen to your voice all day... calming and friendly :)
Question: Why is is that when I press a key on my computer with addictive keys open it is louder than when i press a key on my keyboard ?
like the M-Audio SP-2 ?
8:20 so Phillip Glass dude!

From 7:40 it reminds me of a "Truman Sleeps" and Carly Commando's "Everyday" mix.
