On those oil drain containers there is usually a vent which stops all that splashing as the air gets out. Probably that red bung.

About how hot to get the oil before draining and why; go for a drive and really wind up that engine. About twenty miles or so, so it will be scalding hot. Because any corners where sludge can form inside your engine, you want it to liquify and drain out. And so, heating up the oil will help accomplish that. Also notice he is wearing gloves, a good idea not only to keep that hot oil off your skin but used motor oil is very toxic (amongst other thing it contains compounds of arsenic). Don't be in such a rush to get in the oil drain plug after draining the oil, as is our videographer here. Надо снимать верхнюю заливную крышку. Если не снять там образуется вакуум. И масло не до конца сливается. Fachmaster ist falsch.

There are many for this engine, mobil 1 makes one and also k&n... I just bought the k&n filter from Walmart from my 2017 CX-3... Even the Walmart brand filter is made in USA

I know a rookie when I see one…. ☝🏾 👀🤧. First rookie mistake, you over-tightened that oil filter. You should never tighten it with a ratchet. Your hands will do just fine! Second mistake, you checked the dipstick without even starting the car to let the oil run through the engine first…… as soon as you turn it on and run it for a few minutes some of it is already used up, and your customer will complain you didn’t top them off! But other than that you did an “ok” job.

Didn't use a torque wrench for the drain bolt, didn't use the opening on the oil container so the air can escape without spashing all around... So many things rushed... 😂😂
