Do these garage door openers work with all-star transmitters? Just got a house and the previous owners left a garage door remote that doesn't work. I think they took the transmitter that belonged to the garage owner at the house. Complete noob at this, need info. Thanks.

hi do i need to go through all 3 steps? what if i do not need to reprogram my remote, can I just exit programming mode after the first 2 steps?

What if after I do the programming for setting it upwards I hit p and then instead of the bottom three lighting up the number 7 lights up and blinks instead

Hallo, thank you for the video. My unit is behaving weird after a blackout. When entering the EOS mode, I can set the OPEN position as shown in the video. But when confirming with the P button, the lights 4.5.6 won’t turn on to let me program the CLOsE position. Instead, the lights 8,2 are on. If I press the (-) button, the door closes fully without me being able to adjust it. I did a reset but the behavior is the same after the reset. Is there a trick or is my device defective?

@@nicknield I solved the problem. The issue with mine was a missing switch cam on the Belt. It is a small metal wedge that is attached to the belt. It travels behind the unit when pulling up and presses a button behind the motor that indicates that the door is in the up position. Apparently mine fell off and I had to purchase a new one.

Thank you for these steps. Everything does exactly as you've shown, except the door continues to open too far. Past the limit I've set. Therefore, the door creates an error and won't close ?????

Can you help me with this error? After following all the steps, the opener will pull the door all the way back to the unit and then create an error. While it is opening, it is also traveling very slow for more than half the distance from close. Any ideas?

Not working

Holding the p button for me just lights up two and six. This is idiotic

These are straight dog doo garage door openers. Ill make sure i dont get this brand ever again.
